Wslm make sure u have no holes in your base,before adding your milk mixture place your base in freezer for 15-20 minutes 😊

Sweet girl your pastry should be parbaked-(blind baking), is the baking term this normally baked @ 170°c +- 10min then a furth 10min without pastry protection prior to the very liquid mix is added to the crust....that way your pastry remains nice and crispy 😜

Hi Heather cape malay milktart doesn't need to be blind baked,if u choose to blind bake your crust first it will be burned because the filling takes a while to set,BTW I do no what is blind baking🤪u are welcome to Google cape malay milktart
