I've heard a lot of people saying that hard water really affects their skin :( I think there are attachments you can get to help with the hard water and I've seen people rinse their face with filtered water at the very end.

When I saw that it was oily skin friendly I was so HAPPY! THIS IS AWESOME. My skin now is pretty ok but I do have dark spots and stubborn black heads, will this help lighten my dark spots and possibly help with blackheads or will I need other products. Your videos was amazing! :))

thank you sm! This routine focuses mainly on hydration so I don't have any products in here that will help with black heads, but hydrating well and applying sunscreen will definitely help with acne and dark spots!

Hi everyone in the comments, just a reminder that it’s also genetics, age, and free radicals from environmental factors that affect your skin day to day and everyone is beautiful regardless if they have perfect textured milky skin or not. Some of these beauty products may work or they may not. At the end of the day they are “cosmetics” and not a cure all be all. In my early teens to early 20s I could tolerate all these fragrances and it would look GOOD but now in my late 20s my skin dislikes all this and I learned that if u keep using fragrances, your more susceptible to developing a fragrance allergy which happened to me. Just thought I should share
@LaurenJanelle2 жыл бұрын
I think that's a really good point, I try to avoid scents when unnecessary but I do keep some that I really like because skincare is also very sensory for me

Ohh no! That’s interesting to hear bc I never notice a smell when I use it. I’ve gotten pilling only a few times from it but I think it could have been the type of moisturizer I used underneath. I hope it works out if you try it again!

Hey i know i'm late to this video - found you on instagram and binged all your content there hehe! Question about exfoliation for this type of routine: On my extremely flaky dry skin, I usually use an AHA serum twice a week in my nighttime skincare. This keeps the flakes at bay. Do you think that's too often or too harsh? I also am almost 30 and plan to introduce retinol once a week sometime soon.
@LaurenJanelle2 жыл бұрын
I think AHAs twice a week are too harsh. Instead of using acids to take away flaky skin, try hydrating your skin! I really recommend a toner and a hydrating serum. It's a much more gentle approach that has a better outcome imo. When you do start retinol, try to stay away from AHAs (limit to once a week if you want to use them)

@LaurenJanelle2 жыл бұрын
I really recommend not washing your face more than 2 times a day. It can be really stripping and cause your skin to product more oil
@yuriambre32532 жыл бұрын
if u can't stop washing ur face 4-5 times a day, get yourself hydrating face mists so you can just hydrate instantly after u wash ur face. Why do you wash ur face that many times btw
@miaa79682 жыл бұрын
You really need to stop doing that - not only are you stripping your skin horribly, but it also means you’ll be washing most of the products off before they even get a chance to work.
