There’s a great AI cover of Hell is Forever but the roles are reversed. And because they now know, they aren't invincible like they thought, they will kill more precise and with less mistakes. At least Adam didn't die alone this time. He was alone and broken when his mortal life ended; abandoned by both wives and robbed of everything he was meant to have/be. He never got the world he was promised or the crown he was guaranteed. Everything this man had, all his hopes and dreams, were stolen away from him before he even had a chance. In the end, it seems Lute was the only one who ever truly cared about him. There's no telling whether they were friends, lovers, or some mix of both, but there *was* definitely a strong bond there. Probably the only real bond Adam ever had. Lute could've run away, but she rushed to his side despite her own injuries. It's no wonder he smiled at the end. In that moment, he finally knew peace. He never got all the things they told him he was destined to have, but he *did* finally get the only thing he ever truly wanted; someone who accepted him for him, who wouldn't throw him away just because he was, like all mortals (and former mortals), a flawed being.

Beautiful written and I agree totally with you. Also his whole behaviour, his stories with women (like in the first episode), which became never something more, is a sort of self-defense, for not being hurted again. With everything taken from him, with everyone who left him, I'm sure he hated being alone, so he seeked every possible distraction. And Lute was the one, who always sticked around him, who tolerated his behavior and the way he talks to her. She choosed it to be by his side. But he also respected her deeply, and I think Lute knew that. I think he is the one person who (perhaps) truly cared about her and she was the one one who truly cared about him. The way she cried over him, losing him, broke me. But when he saw in this moment Lute, who cared about him, who cried for him, he was happy and smiled. Knowing there was a least someone to whom he was important, when he probably wasn't it to anyone else. But I hope so much, that Adam comes back and reunite with Lute. ❤❤❤😢❤❤❤

I didn't expect this when I saw it and clicked on it, but I was GREATLY surprised! Lute and Adam were horribly awful people, but one could tell that the one redeeming feature they had was their genuine friendship (and maybe even something a little more). You embodied just how Lute must have felt upon going back to Heaven as she was being treated for her injuries, plotting her bloodthirsty revenge and planning on confronting Lillith and getting her to play her part in whatever the heck is going on.

That'll be honestly really nice to see, Adam comes back as a sinner, and then gets to the hotel, apologizes, and starts working on becoming a better person. Eventually he reunites with Lute, and they get together. And like Charlie says in the pilot, "They'll all be happy together in Heaven" 🥰 It'll be cool seeing how Adam goes from an awful person, to someone who just really cares about life. It'll be interesting to see people's reactions, especially the ones who already hated Adam and Lute.

Ingredients 3 1/2 cups of AP flour 2 teaspoons salt 1 3/4 cups of warm water (~40 degrees) 1/2 teaspoon instant dry yeast Instructions Add flour, salt and yeast to a bowl and whisk until mixed. Add water to dry ingredients and mix. If too dry add water to achieve a smooth and sticky texture. Let proof for 6 1/2 hours covered with a wet towel. Take out the dough, dust your surface and hands and fold in all sides to the centre. Dust with flour top and bottom, flip over and add slits to the top. Heat a dutch oven to 425 Fahrenheit for ~30 minutes. Place dough in and let bake for another 30 minutes. Remove the lid and let bake more until top is browned. Take out, let cool to avoid deflation and enjoy!

The more Adam's halo flickers, the more he is closer to death. It's pretty touching that she recites most of the song talking about how the demons won, her hate, carrying on the mission. Then at the end, when Adam is almost gone, she starts talking about how he was all that she had. For a moment, she confessed what was really important to her and acknowledged the truth. Hell's not forever. Now Adam is a martyr, but whether that represents vengeance or hope is up to her. This is beautiful. Your voice is beautiful! Both the powerful singing fot the bulk of the song and the soft finale.

A majority of Heaven’s higher-ups and the exorcist’s will definitely be in the latter faction. While Sir Pencius and Emily will try gathering support from as many of the citizens of Heaven as possible, even if it means potentially falling from grace.

I actually lean on repressed feelings for each other: Adam has trust issues and is unable to form healthy emotional bonds with anyone since Eve (flings, One night stands...). For him Lute is a great friend and work buddy, but in reality she would be a perfect partner for him but he never realised it or pushes her away consciously(till maybe his last seconds in ep8). Lute on the other hand I belive is quite conscious of her feelings for Adam, but she is insecure in her vulnerabilities (and probably sees them as weaknesses), the power dynamic does not help (she is an underling that could be substituted, he is the friggin' d**ckmaster) and is probably afraid of rejection and fucking their current dynamic. At the end both characters wore masks in more ways than just literally and that also makes their relationship so intriguing and nuanced.

Something that I think would be really sick for a future season (if we got a season 3 or so) is seeing Lute become a main antagonist. I love the idea of her starting out her new role with the intentions to revive or honor Adam, due to her respect or adoration for him. Since adam would be brought back as a sinner, he’s technically have no status in hell (besides over the hellborns and stuff) so he’d have to adapt to that. Maybe we wouldn’t see much of Adam or Lute in season two, especially as the main antagonists are going to be the Vees. But while this is all going on, I have this idea in my head where Adam starts to (reluctantly) adapt, while Lute starts to become power hungry and forget about her original goals. Then, in a future season, Lute would send the exorcists to try and take over hell or…whatever lute wants to do, pushing Adam and the Hazbin crew into a reliance. Idk I think it would be super sick if neither side wanted to be paired together, but eventually kind of came to terms with it. Maybe Adam would be able to soften up a little bit, though still keeping his “I’m greater than everyone and everything so fuck you” attitude because, of course, it’s irreplaceable But that’s just a theory… A HAZBIN THEORY

First "Heaven is Changing," was wonderful as it shows what could be the change that Sera could have, and now "Hell is Forever" (Lute's Reprise/Lute's Lament) is a pleasant surprise and a welcome one. First off, to take the favorite song of Adam and Lute that they'd do together, and turn into a sad solo since Lute is going to be alone from here on out is a very nice twist and direction to take this "holy villain" song. And secondly, It truly fits the theme of it being a dirge, a sad lament of Adam's death with Lute expressing her grief of losing the boss that she was best friends with, maybe something more, and it has hints of a requiem, a song that honors the fallen as Lute expresses her feelings for Adam, and she swears she will be strong as she will get her vengeance against our heroes of hell for both of them going forward into season 2. It shows what I think all the feelings an Angel would sing about when death is involved, the sadness of loss and unfairness with the end of a man's life, the determination to keep on, even the anger of what is deemed an unjust end being righted by divine justice and judgement going to be dealt. Other than maybe doing the lyrics a bit differently in places myself, this was really good. I say as DJ Paranoid does all the great fan songs for the demons, I say you should try to keep going for fan songs for the Angels, because your characterization, lyrics, and voice of an angel fits it all!

An animatic version of this song I imagine is Lute is singing this while retreating and is flying up to heaven while holding Adam’s halo close to her and I like to think the halo holds their memories so as she’s flying she looks down at the halo and sees all of Adam’s memories with her
