Hey Keith , loving this series. I'm in the process of a checkmate myself !!! Not getting on as well as you but your latest episodes are really helping me out. Front flitch, doorstep, scuttle outer sills.. A 1st timer but getting there, I think... Also picked up 1 of the brochures a great help for the original look of the car and the parts. Managed to pick up an original radio for mine after years of trying.. Thanks again and keep the episodes coming 😉

Hi Keith, thanks for the warning on that brake cleaner. I too have noticed the recent price increase and might have been tempted to buy something cheaper.

Hi Keith, I have just found the original complete engine block from the racing green, it’s been standing a while and is seized from standing I think, it has number plate tag on it, if it’s any good to you pop by and pick it up. Cheers m8 Phil

Hi Paul, that would be really helpful, thank you. I’m planning to redo the engine, i know its only just been overhauled but im going to go for 70+bhp so will be over boring and putting a cam in so the original block would be really useful. I’ll drop you an e-mail

Hi Paul, I seem to have mislaid your contact details. Could you drop me an e-mail at millermilla@sky.com please?

Have you contacted the Mini Cooper Register? They should be able to help regarding the conversion plate.

Keith my parents next door neighbor has a 1990 Mini Cooper that's been bored out to 1330cc and got rebuilt years ago. How much do you think it's worth?
@classicminiworkshop2 жыл бұрын
It's so hard to say without seeing the car, but if it's roadworthy and MOT'd, anywhere between £5k and £10k depending on condition.
