Athletes have gathered at Stalybridge Country Park for the Millbrook Monster race.
The gruelling 10k organised by Hyde Striders sees runners from clubs across Tameside, Saddleworth and beyond among the field.
The circular route for takes in Walkerwood Reservoir, Harridge Pike, Higher Swineshaw Reservoir and Brushes Valley before finishing with a loop of the country park.
And the bonus prize? … the epic chip butty at the end
