I've been saying for awhile that indie games are taking over, slowly but surely. I think it has a lot do with indie devs having a heavier focus on gameplay as well as making games that are more creative in general. Triple A devs are so afraid to take a risk nowadays that it has created a stagnet mess of essentially the same games with slightly different graphics and more micro transactions.

Agreed on AAA not wanting to take risks, but it’s so hard for indie to develop at the pace and scale AAA can

I was thinking about this and hope someone somewhere made a video about this. Sometimes I get annoyed at my generation. 39. With all the nostalgia crap. They were fun backnin the day. But i like were its at now.. yes its gotten really competitive and young kids little nimble fingers. There gonna be better at games. If tou take the games how they are and just have fun with it. You'll remember qhy you enjoyed the games back in the day. Except for the cod people who are proud racists. Another spot on video drop. I'm an O.G. gamer and I have realized that feeling of wow this game is amazing is not going to come back. I have already had that in my time with Call Of Duty. Now the youngsters are having that. I'm just frustrated that I'm not as dominant as I once was. Keep dropping bangers and Hope to see you on the battlefield.

Gen z is 1997-2012 so technically I’m gen z but I started playing in and before the golden era. So I get your point and I totally agree however I’m gonna estimate for someone who has been gaming their whole life then 2002 maybe 2003 is the cut off

I find it interesting that the most popular games are remakes or are trying to bleed the original title such as call of duty and battlefield. They're not making good games in my opinion like they used to. They're just trying to sap off the old stuff and modernize it. For me. Personally I don't like it but that's just me

My first game was Battlefield 2 and now it doesn't look good graphics wise according to kids who are growing up on the newer not as good CoD games (not saying they're bad). The first CoD Black Ops was the best CoD game.

1942 was my first BF and the first call of duty on PC was mine. I was hooked ever since then. 2042 was a huge disappointment that’s for sure
