I think the main reason a lot of people do this is perhaps it’s because they grew up with sitcoms and it just kind of incorporated into their personality a little, that and it makes the life of living seem a little bit easier to handle. That’s just my opinion tho

This is why I am a huge believer in separating bank accounts. You agree on a retirement percentage and you contribute to the monthly bills, what's left, in anything, is yours to do with however you want. I buy big toys like a sound bar every few months and take my partner out in dates because I like their company. They spend almost daily on small hobby items. We are happy and no one says jack about the fact they drink Starbucks and Keurig coffee pods and I buy $300 in gourmet coffee beans then add creamer 🤣

(I know this is a skit) if anybody is actually going through something like this, I mean like: it’s too expensive for you to buy Starbucks every day. There is a chain of tweets with the recipes for all of the drinks from Starbucks. I’m quite sure that you can also buy the coffee beans Starbucks uses from them, but if you look around I’m sure there is a dupe that costs less and tastes better.
