It's a marked improvement from the "Gen Z Hospital" sketch on the Elon Musk episode from season 46. Maybe they realized that they needed to do better than that after reading the online comments about it. It also helps that some of the cast members they have now are Gen Z (1990s born, tail end Millennials. I think Marcello Hernandez and newcomer Chloe Troast are the only ones that can be legitimately called Gen Z, while Michael Longfellow, Molly Kearney, and Devon Walker are just tail end Millennials). EDIT: With Troast and Kearney gone, SNL actually brought in some Gen Z cast members: Emil Wakim and Jane Wickline were born in the late 1990s (1998 for Emil and 1999 for Jane), so that does put them at Gen Z. Ashley Padilla's birth year isn't known yet, but it's probably around the same time as Wakim and Wickline. I'd be surprised if Padilla was a 2000s born person.

I haven't watched SNL since the late 90s or early 2000s-until I heard he was hosting. This skit and the chicken wing skit were the best ones in the episode. I hope he comes back again within the next 2 years; we need more of him in comedy.
@nikig2382 Жыл бұрын
What? There were definitely better sketches than this and the chicken wings.

It’s refreshing to see Pedro in a different silly light. He’s always not just Din Djarin from The Mandolorian, but all I see is him in dramatic, action adventure roles. When I saw my AHS queen Sarah Paulson, I did this 🫶🏼.
