Millennium CNG or LP Conversion Kit For All Fuel Injected Engines

Overview of installing the Millennium CNG or LP conversion kit from Energy and Water Solutions on a fuel injected engine. This kit is universal and can be installed on any fuel injected engine. Our carburetor kits include an O2 sensor and bung so the fuel ration is adjusted just like our fuel injected kits. The controller emulates the TPS signal. The engine runs like a fuel injected engine while running on CNG or LP.

You can use the factory O2 sensor if it is not an air fuel ratio sensor or a wide band O2 sensor. The fuel injectors are turned off while running on LP or CNG so they will not get "cooked".

Yes, but you have to use the engine oil to warm the regulator instead of the engine coolant.

Pulling the injector fuse may also shut off other components and will not allow you to switch over to gasoline when needed It is best to use the yellow wires or an injector controller, if needed, to turn off and on the fuel injectors.

The EWS conversion kit is the best DIY (or nearly-DIY) unit I've seen out there. I can definitely see myself buying this at some point in the future. I see how the Millennium system works with the O2 sensor and TPS modulating the gas flow... For your carbureted version, for pre-computer engines, how is the gas flow modulated? Is there a closed-loop O2 system, and how is the degree of throttle determined?

Our carburetor kit comes with an O2 sensor and bung and uses the O2 signal to control the fuel ratio just like a fuel injected engine. There is no TPS signal and so no TPS signal is used. The kit comes with software and a computer cable. The controller is our EWS system which is similar to our Millennium, but with a fewer options. can you just pull the main fuel injector fuse that resides in you fuse box?

7:02 That's a big ol' wad of carbon on that throttle plate. Is there much of an increase or decrease in economy? I'm curious what the range is for a gallon of liquid propane versus a gallon of gasoline as a ratio or percentage.

Why can't you use the factory O2 sensor? Will it hurt the injectors to be non-op while on LP? I read somewhere that they can be "cooked" if not being cooled down by the gasoline running through them. Thanks.

Our Millennium single point injection system works very well on fuel injected engines. A sequential injection system does not have to be used on a fuel injected engine. We now have sequential injection kits available, but we recommend our Millennium system. See our CNG Conversion page on our website for more information.

Can this be installed in a 1972 air cooled VW? Specifically the VW Type 3 in my profile photo. This car has an air cooled engine in the rear and a trunk/luggage compartment in the front. The gas tank is in the front underneath the luggage area. There is a very primitive computer they called "the brain" that works the fuel injection. Otherwise, there are no computer components on the car.

I personally never recomend monoijection system for sequential ijection vehicle, dear possible customers, please go to your local gas installers and they sertanly will recomnd you correct system for your car.
