Recently had an MGD in a bottle, and loved it....I've heard it's the same as MHL except it's cold filtered instead of pasteurized to give it more of the off the tap taste. Can't remember the last time I've had a Miller High Life (reminds me of bowling alleys!) but I'm going to get a 6 pack soon of those nostalgic bottles. I'm betting I'll really like it as my style is far more the lighter tasting/smoother beers. Great review!

At least you admit there is nothing offensive with High Life. Reviwers get these types of beers wrong. Its not meant to be gourmet or exquisite, nor was it made to be $20.20 a 4pk. Its great in its style!

Watched several of your older videos. Now in 2022 Las Vegas a 12 pack of bottles is 8.99. Same price you gave 3 years ago. Great beer in the bottle and the only one of the adjuncts that I can tell a difference between bottle and can. Bottle is great and can is decent. I look forward to seeing more videos. New subscriber. As I’m drinking a highlife!! Absolutely a phenomenal budget beer, my buddy used to talk mad shit about this beer as well as miller lite….since the 2023 season started he brings both of those to my house because we drink multiple and he LOVES them!

You should do reviews of the MT lagers. I'm curious if they're actually noticeably better than stuff like high life and PBR. They might be, but my lager experience is pretty dominated by the cheap ones, so all lagers kind of taste the same to me

These all pretty much taste the same to me, too (and you'll see I mention that in the next video), but I want to blind battle beers these with some MT or Monk lagers. I think it would be fun to see if we could really tell huge differences, ya know? Im sure these brewers are inspired by these beers they drank growing up, and might even be trying to mimic them?

They started producing HL in 16oz cans if you want to trick yourself into thinking it was a craft brew lol. You should send the 16oz as a mystery beer to Matt at massive👍

There’s a place for MHL still. Super drinkable. I like Eek! by Off-Color Brewing, which is an American Wild Ale variant of Miller High Life made in collaboration with Miller. Super fun beer. Cheers!

Can't remember if I tried Miller High Life when I was first getting into beer 10-something years ago. But I just tried it tonight and it's not bad at all. Way better than a Rolling Rock or Natty Light.

There's actually a lot of benefit in drinking these kinds of beers and switching it up, in that when you go back to the trillium and treehouse and monkish, you probably enjoy them a lot more...such is the contrasting nature of the universe...no good without evil, no light without the darkness

They used to have that at the 99 cents store up here and would sell out by the pallet. If I'm doing cheap beer I go for King Cobra though. Good review.

99 cent for a 32 ounce yep. When it happened everybody around the neighborhood knew it so they restricted it to 2 bottles a person. You would see a bunch of random people in the store with bottles in their hand in line al the time.
