It's like you're in my mind at times Dan.... wore MI to a family event today, again in tears at its dreadful performance. On scent itself, it's a masterpiece.... but gone in a few hours, even on clothes after 5-6 hours, shattering my heart. Mahsam at Dua has done the world a favour with IP, 95% the same on scent and BEASTLY in performance.... wow.

I bought 2 bottles of Hawaii Volcano from Alexandria which IMHO is spot on to Creed's Virgin island Water but I also have 2 bottles of VIW. It's a win win either way. #SmellyArmy ✌🏽

Thanks for the review! MI is my signature scent, I've been searching for a good clone so that I can save on my MI, but what I love about MI is the saltiness. That's also what gets me the most compliments, when the fragrance is in that phase. I have only tried Unforgivable, and while it copies the top notes really well, it is sadly lacking in the salty ambergris drydown. Is the Alexandria or Dua better in this aspect? Both are sold out right now though. Thanks!

I tried millesime Imperiale creed from an original tester box but not for a full wearing, I tried a dear friend’s bottle of citron Del Mar I virtually cannot distinguish both of them scentwise both are clean and crisp but citron Del Mar lasted for night out and overnight still detected with the same beautiful dry down but for sure closer to the skin but whiffs kept coming through occasionally till I showered it is just so pleasing and a treat to wear. I haven’t yet tried the DUA but AF version is very reasonably priced with amazing quality at a bargain price for 60 ml

Great review man! I still haven't tried milissime imperial but I will be trying it out for sure this summer. I love Alexandria all that I have tried from them has been really good especially Arabian horse but I have not tried anything from dua yet.

What are your thoughts on Bulgari Aqua Atlantique as an alternative to MI? Opening very different i know, but the dry down Atlantique to me is actually a slightly brighter (and better) version of MI... plus it lasts much longer too. I know a lot of people compare Atlantique to Sauvage, but that is only for about the first 10mins, then it goes into a brighter more modern version of MI. Cheap too!

I let my AF bottle of Citron Del Mar sit and it lasts into the next day on me. I think dua and AF juices need to marinade for a bit to settle into their smell and performance. Also side by side comparison was almost undetectable. Citron Del Mar is slightly sweeter.

Technically by the “opening” do you mean how a fragrance smells right when it’s come out of the bottle or do you mean the first time an individual smells it? What I mean is if you have the fragrance on for a few hours already then someone walks up to you, are they getting the opening? Is this term taking into account how you acclimatise to your own scent after a short time?

Great question Zim! I mean the smell when you first spray it. So if someone smells you several hours later they will smell the middle or drydown of the scent. However there may be certain things that leap out first as most noticeable at any stage of the fragrance.

I haven’t smelled Dua’s version yet, but I own both MI and Alexandria’s inspired version. In my opinion, Alexandria’s take is really really close to my nose (98-99%). MI has been my signature scent for 15 years and I honestly don’t know if I’ll buy MI again after having smelled this. They’re so close it almost makes no sense to pay that much for a bottle of Creed. Just my opinion.

@@ogkush6800 With Rush of Unicorns you can smell more of a sea saltiness too it than you can with Citron Delmar. After wearing both extensively, I actually now prefer Rush of Unicorns over Citron. You can tell it is of slightly higher quality, but Citron is a beast in longevity, not that Rush of Unicorns isn't, but this is on another level. Both will last you all day, unlike the original. If it came down to cost, Citron Delmar, all day!!

Mega Magdy where are their discount codes? Just like Mr. Smelly and many others have pointed out, with Dua you get beast mode projection and better longevity. If three sprays of Dua is equivalent to four sprays of Alexandria, then that translates to an extra 25% discount. I’m not against Alexandria but I am all about value and it seems that Dua in the end is a better value.

I recently purchased IMPERIALÉ PASTÈQUE and I need to say that it is a big disappointment. The new bottle is a bit different, the design in the bottle is about the same but the cap is now clear plastic. This may be one of the less aromatic and less projecting of the Dua Fragrances. The fragrance can be barely felt, almost imperceptible, none of the notes described in the manufacturer website can be recognized, it is almost like spraying water with oil. This is far from the power that Creed Millesime Imperial provides, very disappointing for sure. I have purchased several of the Dua Fragrances to properly assess the "incredible" performance that several KZbinrs claiming, I find Dua more in the rip-off side of fragrances.

The new dua is pretty faint🤦‍♂️just bought it and supernova both are fairly faint, best citrus ever is okay strength. None of them are as good as the original casino royal nights I have , pretty disappointed 😔 I hope the steep or settle into something stronger or better otherwise I’m gonna have to stick to originals from here on out🤕

There is no perfect clone especially on niche fragrances. Yes the idea is there but there is no development whatsoever. No perfumer, just reverse engineering. Not the same.
