@maureennwankwohealthyoptions 3 жыл бұрын
Yes Jenny, you can eat it everyday and it can help you loose weight but you have to be mindful of your portion size. I will also advice that you can skip adding on the oats flour, and use millet flour all through if you are looking to shed some weight.

@maureennwankwohealthyoptions
@maureennwankwohealthyoptions 3 жыл бұрын
Hi Shirley, I think probably you didn’t give it enough time to cook. After stirring, you should allow it some time to cook through under low heat about 4 - 7 mins. Depending on the quantity you are making. Keep it covered so that the steam circulates.

Can I eat it while breastfeeding? Can I feed my 8months baby with it? Is it easy to digest? Are there any precautions to take?
@maureennwankwohealthyoptions
@maureennwankwohealthyoptions 8 ай бұрын
Absolutely, you can eat it while breastfeeding. If your baby has started taking solid foods, then he/she can also it . Remember though to make very tiny morsels for easy ingestion for the baby. Millet has a lot of health benefits for mother and child.

@maureennwankwohealthyoptions
@maureennwankwohealthyoptions 2 ай бұрын
No it is not fattening. But please eat in moderation with soups like Okro and vegetable soup if watching your weight. More of this kinds of soup which are mainly vegetables and a small amount of this fufu will help with weight loss. Most importantly avoid any meals at night. If you can manage to have your last meal between 4pm - 5pm it will help a lot with your weight.

@maureennwankwohealthyoptions
@maureennwankwohealthyoptions Жыл бұрын
It’s completely optional, you can leave it out if you prefer. I add it because it gives a better texture; It makes the fufu a bit more elastic. An added bonus is that oats flour is very rich in nutrients as well.
