I've been following you since 2015, when I decided to go natural because of hair loss. Now, I know my hair and understand how it works. I see the options, that I have. Enjoy your journey, you're gonna love your hair in locs. I had my hair Sisterlocked in 2001 when I lived in California. I Loved having my locks. My hair was waist length. The only reason I don't have them today, is having to cut my hair due to breast cancer in 2009. There are no Sisterlock technicians near me and my scalp is still tender, otherwise I'd have my hair in locks again. They are beautiful. Stay blessed and encouraged💜

Congratulations sis on doing You. People always want to put you into their little mold of how they see you. My hair is natural 4C coily and I love wearing wigs. I probably have 40 wigs now. I wear different wigs all the time, then turn around and rock my natural hair which is really growing now. Omg, people say the most ignorant, dumb and hurtful things. My daughter is considering locking her hair too. I encourage her to do it. It's her hair. ❤️

@Millicent Swift I am currently in the process of getting locs. I've seen almost all of your hairstyle tutorials and have achieved quite a few on my hair. But I've been wanting to loc my hair for quite some time just hadn't got up the nerve to do it but I have decided at this point in my life this is truly what i want to do for myself I'm ready to go on this loc journey with my hair. I have a fee family members that have locs and their hair is beautiful but I'm not doing because of them I'm ready to do this for myself. This has been nagging me for a long time and it's time. When I went natural (many moons ago) my mom kept offering me her straightening comb...I was like NO Ma!!! Lol now most of my family have gone natural! Blessings on your Loc journey Sis! Oh and the comments/question I got the most when I had Loc's "are you gonna wash it?" And my oldest Aunt said that "loc's have lice"...😑🤭

@Millicent.... ALWAYS do you. The good thing about growing your own hair, it continues to grow. Next to a shaved head, I love locs and afros. I'm not nor was I ever interested in straight wigs or hair weaves. I started locing 3 1/2 decades ago, cut it many times and allowed it to grow to ankle length in 2018. Soon it will be 1-2" so I can begin growing my loose hair into a bushy fro that I yearn to see and nurture. :-)
