Before I started my locs in February I bleached my hair a month before because i knew I wanted something bold once my locs were installed. I love how it came out and it’s pretty to see my black roots being retwisted into the blonde. I can’t wait until my locs get to your length and maturity. I did 2 strand twist and yours are gorgeous!!

I've had my locs since 2009 and I still am glad I did it. The length of your hair in this video was a length I LOVED...I styled it so much. Now it's longer and I barely do anything to it 😂 I just started styling it again in February after YEARS of not styling lol.

Hi Millicent! Have you thought of just using grapeseed oil for your locs. It has an extreme "softening" effect on my hair I have found in comparison to my other oils and its very light and affordable! As well as easily rinsed off, it gives my natural hair elongation and amazing coils. I bet it works wonders for locs too!

@@NaturallyMichy YW! Trust me you won't regret it! And Grab some Pompeian Grapeseed Oil. Even though its not the most expensive brand I've purchased, But.. to my liking and surprise some of those looked more golden and it at least has a Lt. Greenish color to it! All perform well, but I keep it!💗

Have you heard of the hair wax? You can dye your hair without it being permanent, though I think waiting until after your locs mature is best before you try it though?

How do you maintain your hair while working out? How do you combat the smell??

During workouts... I like to wear my hair up off my shoulders/ neck (in a tube wrap) and once I'm done working out, I'll take it down so it can air/ dry out properly. For smell... I like to use Uncle Funky's Daughter Defunk Hair Refresher Tonic after a heavy workout, or I'll just mist my hair with water and Taliah Waajid's African Healing Oyl to refreshen my hair.
