I chose this song over some of the popular Thrice tracks, because I found the lyrics particularly relevant to this generation. I interpret it as the loneliness we experience when someone detaches from real-world relationships in favour of digital ones on electronic devices or through social media. We've all experienced the sense of isolation when someone we love isn't engaging with us because they are preoccupied online. It's something we can all work on - being more present in our lives and having the freedom to abstain from the addiction that is the digital realm. As per, equipment and chords in the description. I came across THRICE'S 'To be everywhere is to be nowhere' album a few weeks back... One of my favorite albums... And this song just pierces my heart. I can completely relate to this song. 100 %. Thrice has really mastered the craft. I've been writing songs for years... But I haven't come close to writing something so beautiful. I guess I shouldn't compare. In any case, MILLIE- You've really done an absolutely incredible job on this. I've been writing for 20+ years (Though not much on my YT page at the moment to show for). So believe me when I say you've done an absolutely amazing job on this song. I'm adding it to my play list. Thanks for sharing!

Thrice are just one of those bands that keep nailing it though. They will never be appreciated on the level they truly deserve, but I have loved them since I discovered them in 2001. They are just good musicians, and their lyrics always captured me before anything else.
