'why not me?' reminds me of Carol Dweck’s concept of the growth book. I also began investing in ETFs and bonds whenever I had some extra money. But at that age, I just didn’t have the time to wait for them to grow through compounding. I did a lot of research and found a different strategy that worked better for me, helping me reach $4 million before I retired
@DaliTaliani-wz4tiАй бұрын
yes! I love it 'Mindset' by Carol Dweck. It's worth noting that luck plays a significant role when it comes to investing without it, its challenging to succeed
@SaraNisha-fw4ukАй бұрын
when results stay consistent, it goes beyond luck. Research was the challenge until it led to Emily Ava Milligan, a fund manager. Her strategy helped grow 400k into this and counting

It's seems to be the latest wave of videos trending that echo those selling programs prior to social media. Becoming a millionaire by age 30, 20, 16 etc...but every story has their own unique spin. People quitting jobs, finding success without college. Back then, it was real estate, building a business (always about finding a niche!), exploiting a gap or opportunity, doing something sustainable and better than others, and having a competitive advantage. Ultimately, it comes down to relentless hustle. And not re-inventing the formula, do what has been proven to work.
@MillieAdrian5 ай бұрын
I could definitely see that! It has been a journey and I’m super grateful to be able to do what I do! It’s my dream job and I’m glad I can share it with all of you!

Congratulations! I'm a big fan of your teachings. You got me at ... is it a "nich" or a "neesh"? 😅 I was tired of the unique stances that other how-to's out there took. Your method showed me that you are inclusive and considerate.😃

But I realize that is okay, just as long as I am having fun with it and I learn something new every time I upload a video! I hope in the coming years I can grow and achieve a sustainable income so I can give up nursing career and be home with my family more. That is the goal for me and watching your journey keeps me going on mine as well. Thank you!

Thank you for the great information! I especially like that advice to tell your audience everything they want to know for free and then teach them what they need to know when they pay. I love that! Just a minor critique. At 25.36, you said your team is “detrimental to your success”. 😂 I think you meant the opposite of that, that they are essential to your success. 😊 You might want to tell them you appreciate them after all.

"Knowledge is great, but wisdom is better." This is one of those things where I apply "AND" logic instead of "OR" logic. Knowledge and wisdom works great as a team to crack the code to the dream. You can gain the knowledge but if you don't apply it, how much good that do for where you're trying to go?.. Is there truly wisdom where knowledge is absent?.. You become wiser with the knowledge you obtain over time.

And also gaining that confidence to apply them! How often does fear prevent us from moving forward?

Hi Millie, I know every journey will be different; I have two questions. 1. How long have you been doing content creation? 2. And what kind of time frame did it take for you to get from $0 - $1,000,000? Some people say they make a mill in a year, and then some say they have been doing online stuff for 5 - 10 years but didn't make $1,000. I ask these questions because I don't want to hear about people's "get rich quick" schemes. We all know an online business works, but I think what grates on a lot of people's nerves is the "I made 7 figures in less than a year" comments. Another reason I ask these questions is; I hate hearing about get rich quick comments from people who aren't putting their story up for us to analyse and criticise and I want to hear a truthful timeframe which can give some substance to my beliefs about becoming successful in online business.

Millie, thank you so so much 🙏. I am currently at peak burnout in my 9-5 job :( but I've got the help of business coaches and entrepreneurs at my University who are wanting to guide and support me through developing my personal brand and science communication platform as a business from the very start. I want to replace my income so I can leave working for someone else for good... Free ebook is done ✅ email list is ready to grow ✅ Your advice on shifting your mindset to business owner was that extra validation I needed to know I'm absolutely going down the right path. Building strong roots to anchor my content and decisions as I grow is so important. 🤩Congrats on your speaker invitation, I'm sure you smashed it!
