I love these videos. Nothing like trekking to the back woods and finding hidden ponds and rivers. No pressure and you really have a chance to catch a Giant like that big Rainbow you caught. I love using spinners they catch any type of game fish.

Had a similar experience fishing a little creek feeding the San Joaquin(not much more than a creek at that point it's self) just above Devil's Post Pile. I was casting my fly through the brush and tree cover, hard fishing. I was almost compelled to look over to my right. While I was concentrating on not loosing my fly I guess this white tail doe had moved to within 10 feet of me. Stayed with me, alternately watching me cast and munching on the grass, close to five minutes. Her eyes seemed to be saying "silly humans". I was stunned, heart racing. Eventually she just sort of followed the tastiest grass and sauntered off. It sounds corny perhaps, but I felt truly honored that day, graced by her trust in me.

I dont know if the trout in other states are tougher than those up in Minnesota but,, We cant handle them as rough/toss them back.. You pretty much have to unhook them in the water / return them as nice as possible or, they will be floaters within minutes....haha... None the less - Good vid, Im not hatin.....

Awesome creek fishing! Im also from nebraska mitchell actually by scottsbluff but theres some stocks ponds called the morrill sand pits really good trout fishing there. Bigger than 3lbs. My personal best was 5lbs off power bait. You should try it there sometime.

You were pulling trout out of that small spot, like clowns out of a clown car!, good video. I sometimes fish a pond that requires a 3.5 mile hike, but I've caught and released some 3 and 4 pound bass out of it, so I think it's worth the hike.
