Unexpected catch ► 10:57
Made a little day trip to hit a beautiful stream that is rumored to hold some GIANT brown trout. Upon arrival, it was painful to see them tucked up under a tree branch...laughing at me as I hurled my sparkly eggs. While the big browns swerved me, I did catch a ton of fish including an unexpected species while fishing this little creek.

I was expecting you to catch a gator or a 10 lb catfish. That's my idea of unexpected on a small creek.

Ya know here in northwest Indiana they stock once a year those little baby rainbow,s. We call them finger links, but they used to close the rivers for like a month or two to give the little guys time to get into the big lake. lake michigan I'am talking, good fishing buddy.

Love the trout fishing videos! Nice change up! If it is legal in that area, try using one of those creek chubs for bait. 35 years ago when I was a teenager in Wisconsin, I would catch creek chubs on purpose , before starting to trout fish. My pb brown is 26 inches on a chub.

Favorite eggs to use are the regular mikes salmon eggs. I've caught Brown's and Brookes on really bright power bait as well like orange and chartreuse

That's a good ole Rooster Tail. Catches everything. I catch smallies, trout, large mouth, crappie with it

Here in NJ those chubs are like GOLD!!! We catch and try and keep them alive all through summer for ice fishing for HUGE pike and musky!!! You can sell those chubs for $3-5 a piece depending on how big they are
