G’day and greetings from Tasmania Australia 🇦🇺 that is a great idea to use a drill hadn’t thought of that, I have a HM 46 geared head which is very heavy to move mainly up with a crank handle. I am going to have a go at making what you did, thank you for sharing that it’s much appreciated, kind regards John

Hi John. Thanks for the kind words. Before you start building you may want to contact Bruce Whitham who is also from Australia. He created and sells the Tru-Line-8 RF30 Stabilization Kit. He’s a really nice person. Here’s a link to his channel. Best regards. Gilles kzbin.info/aero/PLcAKxmImFJqloBoun36lyTDzLft6nlBbL&si=Wr5rxiXaM1Ioedki

John additionally, I think its easier to get in touch with Bruce on Instagram. Just search his name and he pops up.

For me i would like to see the demo not wide open but variable speed .we have to assume the more pressure the more things will wear .after all it was designed to be hand crank.

You’re absolutely correct Tony. It’s not meant to be going up and down constantly at full speed. So far after a year or whatever it’s been, I find that it rarely gets moved since it’s a home shop. Perhaps if it was a commercial shop I might have to consider a mechanism that is different. Good observation. Thanks for your comments. Much appreciated. Gilles

Great gadget for nothing. Nice one. A bit like my wiper motor on the X that everyone said would not work. Steve.
