Hello there!
Welcome to my channel.
I'm Erik, or Engineer Raised In Kingston. Whichever you prefer. I don't mind.
Among an untold amount of machining projects, this one has been the focus of my attention for quite some time. So much so, that I decided to share my journey with the internet.
A vice stop(or vise, depending on your location) is a very useful addition to any vice, especially one that's bolted down to a milling machine.
Despite having a perfectly adequate solution already, I've decided to have a go at doing it somewhat.. Differently.

I'm a student gynecologist so I'm not sure how I've ended up on lathing KZbin videos but this was a very soothing watch. I've subbed!

That might be the first time I've ever seen a die... die 😂 Absolutely my pleasure to help how I can! I'll be looking forward to more of that soothing British accent. And humor!

In all fairness, I had that die set for about 4 years, and it's not a particularly good set either, so I'd like to think I got my money's worth 😁 There will definitely be more to come 😉 Thanks again!

I’m a student ventriloquist, so I’m not sure how I ended up watching lathe videos. But I greatly enjoyed this one and hope to add you to my IM/BH/TOT/NAE et all rotation! Great work ❤

I have no doubt some of my drilling operations would provide useful insight for your future career, Mr. Bevan. 😉

God, I hate the internet. I study what I study to make people's lives better and to make sitting more pleasant for literally tens of people. I still enjoyed the video but the other person's reply about using a lathe on my patients has really ruined my whole day

For reasons I don't quite understand, it's taken until 2025 for the KZbin algorithm to point me at your channel despite my voracious consumption of machining content and (certainly in comparison to some of your illustrious commenters, at least) my geographical proximity. I enjoyed this video very much indeed, look forward to exploring the rest of your films and hope to learn a thing or two! Charlotte

Nice video the algo has pointed me at. Def. looking forward to a video of you black-anodizing your knob. I have a chunk of titanium waiting for a suitable project.
