First of all - put small piece of the ducktape on top of the buzzer to lower its volume. Second - between *+* and *-* wires in multimeter solder the Schottky diode in the forward direction, anode to plus, cathode to minus - you get output voltage ~200-300mV and now you can test resistors, shunts and coils in scheme, without desoldering. Cool info....thanks. Have you seen the one by Kasyan TV that just uses an LM317, a multi-turn potentiometer(for zeroing in), a 9v battery, and a digital readout? Pretty amazing for so few components. It seems to work really well.

BTW - if you add 50-100KHz generator in scheme, you will be able to measure the ESR of capacitors.

I use lm336 to provide 2.5v reference voltage. Please look at a small diagram that I draw with a pencil on a white paper.

@@techmatebolpur9252 Yes, but connection a little difference see How to test|check tl431 in google. 1) Short ref and cathode of tl431 2) +Usupply (37Vmax) -> 1k resistor -> tl431 cathode -> 3pin of IC2 (orig. scheme) 3) tl431 anode to - (ground, zero, common etc.) After U anode-cathode of tl431 = 2,5V, maybe 2,51V or 2,49V

I never try it before. I am not sure. You can try it on a breadboard first. Hopefully it works. It just a reference voltage.
