Why am I sobbing hearing the story about missremiauntie?! like I remember the saddness in the vlogs during that time & now hearing it absolutely breaks my heart. People are so amazing & strong & ugh such a heavy but very necessary convo that needed to be had ❤❤❤

My friend once explained the “time flying by” concept to me like this and I thought it was profound.. when you are 1yr old 1yr is your ENTIRE life but then when you are 5 it’s only 1/5 of your life and so on.. so when you are 30 it’s 1/30.. it literally is less and less of your life..
@kaylag8687
@kaylag8687 8 ай бұрын
this doesn’t really make sense lol. if you’re 5 you’ve life 5/5 of your life. this makes it seem like the past doesn’t exist. you still lives 30 years.

I’m exactly the same way about new rides, last time I rode a new ride I literally had a full blown panic attack. BUT! I’m the same as Remi because I know I’m barely going to ride anything so I’m so happy to sit & hold the bags, get some snacks, hang out & people watch! It’s so fun for me!

I am also crying about Remi’s auntie story she truly is so strong and it sits so close to my heart I just found out my close friend just got diagnosed with pancreatic cancer and she truly is so strong she will start chemo soon and she was the one to take care of her husband who is paralyzed and working to provide for her family I wish there was more I could do to help her everyone who goes through cancer are truly fighters and brave and I’m hopeful for the recovery of her and everyone else who’s going through this ❤

Amazing now that this series is drawing to a close. Another chapter done. To finish off with such a brilliant event of Alisha coursing choaous in the kitchen at Remi's House. Preach cobbler is such a delight to bake as well. Though I do not profess to be a Baker and only make sweet treats in the winter season. Cheers, ladies for brightening my day with your episode every Wednesday. Here's to 2024! Hope you are both well ❤🎄✨️

My mom is a Gemini is the exact same way about not being in control and spoiling shows or movies for herself and not riding rides 😂 I think it’s a form of control not in the you don’t react well sense but for her it’s because she loves being able to plan and help other people if she feels out of control she panics because she can’t be prepared for other people

In grade two Japanese class they decided to show us spirited away. The scene where the parents turn into pigs scared the living fuck out of me. The movie scared me so hard that I became very conscious to learn road routes because they became pigs after loosing their way. I’m exactly like remi. I love my romcoms, sitcoms etc and I love spoiler. The unknown causes love level anxiety which can be avoided by knowing a few Details

That hospital visit of your aunt getting asked if she wanted a priest made me remember that when they found something in my sisters stomach they asked her to start making a will immedietly after telling her they thought she had cancer.Some practices make very interesting choices. In the end it turned out they had misdiagnosed my sister with a tumor when it never existed in the first place 💀

Just to touch on the subject of our parents parenting differently than we do bcs we’ve learned so much, that’s a big reason our generation doesn’t necessarily trust our parents with our children. One, bcs our generation isn’t spanking their kids and are practicing “gentle parenting” aka emotional vulnerability and open communication, and our parents still think spanking and threats are how you raise children, BUT ALSO bcs they didn’t have the same knowledge we have now. Even when it comes to pregnancies these days. The generations argue about the information they were given. How much caffeine you can have, what foods you should and shouldn’t eat, is exercise safe, a glass of wine or no wine. I have no kids but I already can’t imagine how scary of a feeling it must be to leave your child with somebody else bcs you just don’t know. Does this person know baby’s can’t drink water?? Do they know they can roll right off this couch in the snap of my fingers. The anxiety of feel, omg.

I’m not an aqua sun but aqua is a huge part of my birth chart and I ALWAYS look up how many episodes the characters are in. That is how I spoil things for myself. If I know they are in the entire show, I’m like oh okay they will be fine and survive lmao. Especially during a show like the walking dead, it’s comforting for my anxiety.

Remi!! I'm the exact same way with movies and TV shows!! I have the exact same dynamic with my boyfriend too! He's super into movies, and he always makes fun of me because I'll literally be wikipedia-ing the ending next to him. If it's a show that doesn't have the plot online yet I'll scrub through the time stamp and look at the little picture to make sure that I can expect the ending. I love watching movies for characters, but I never want anything bad to happen to them

Alisha- the reason why they were pressuring you to use their attorney is because certain doctors will work closely with the attorneys to get the best settlement possible for her injuries. The chiro/PT doctors who’s affiliated with the law firm will take time and litigate the problem if it were ever to go to court. Usual providers and major hospitals don’t want to get involved in the process and likely will recommend more of a conservative approach which is likely not good for a settlement

🦋The absolute best podcast!!! I do the same thing with knowing what’s going to happen before it happens in movies. Not knowing gives me anxiety! The Peach Cobbler I make is similar. 1 can peaches in syrup, 1 cup flour, 1 cup of milk and 1 stick of butter. Melt butter in dish. Mix flour and milk together; put on top of butter. Pour peaches on top. Bake at 350 degrees until brown.

Remi I feel like u experience really intense emotions wen u do experience them. I’m the same, if something sad or unsettling happens in a movie, I end up empathising with the character ALOT and my emotions r also exaggerated, so the discomfort any negative emotions bring on will b even more intense. Obviously u would wanna b prepped for that level of discomfort/pain right?

THERE'S A MATHEMATICAL REASON FOR WHY TIME SEEMS TO BE FLYING BY. The longer you live, the shorter the days become a fraction of your life. Think of it like this: To a 5-year-old, only 1/5 of their life is a year. That's a lot. As a 29-year-old, a year is only 1/29 of your life. Not near as much. Now think about how small of a fraction a day is in comparison to how many days you have lived at whatever age you are. The more life we live, the more time we exist - the shorter the days, months and years will seem.

Yes so true! We can only experience time in the context of our own lives, so when you’re a day old, one day is literally a lifetime, but when you’re 10 years old, a whole year is 1/10th of your life! Time literally feels faster the older we get 😊

The reason why time goes by more quickly is because a day relative to your life is so small compared to what a day relative to a younger person's life is. Here is an example, let's say you have a new born (2 day old baby), 1day is half of the baby's life. For a 2 year old, 1 year is half of that kid's life, so it goes by verrrryyyyy slowly. For us (20+ people), 1 year as a percentage of your life is so small compared to the rest of your life, so you think it goes very fast. It is all related to relativity
