Complete video of the Million Dollar Pigeon Race from basking to the first 5 birds clocking. Notice the first bird to land was there nearly 5min before the next bird but only walked in 4th.

That "all alone" first drop bird lolly gagged his way to a loss of being first in the clock. I don't like how this landing area is set up in the SAMDR to say the least.. Seems like every vid I see of the birds hitting the So-called landing board, they always seem to hesitate on going in. I think it's waaay too big of an area to land and it's too far for them to get to the trapping and clocking pad, so they just stand around... JMHO

Well, i think that educating the birds to trap from the very begining is a must, and part and parcel with the whole organisation of the race. can't imagine the owner being 5 whole minutes before the others and loose an important race like that! a once in a life time chance, more work must be done to find ways to trap the birds ,one of them is to make clocking pads under the whole of the landing board , although not exactly fair, at least who comes first win!
