I had millions of inquiries about English grammar, but after your fruitful video, they have been reduced into few hundreds only. However, thousands of videos are still needed to enjoy your amazing teaching method. I am a fan of your millions of fans.

The photo at the beginning of the video is one I took of Cathedral Cove in New Zealand. If it looks familiar, it is because it is the same place that appears at the beginning of one of the Narnia movies. (When the kids are transported from the train station to the beach in Narnia)

Let's say that I have about 10 million tasks to number (or enumerate). According to you, as there would be a "number" before the "million", I have to say that "I have to number million of tasks" even if there are many millions of them, as it would be erroneous to say "I have to number millions of tasks". Because "we have a number before the word million". Is there any way to convey that extra information, that I literally mean multiple millions, not a single million?

Woodwardenglish, what about if we want to say a couple or several. Do we put s in the end? Thank you.
@WoodwardEnglish
@WoodwardEnglish Жыл бұрын
Couple and Several refer to numbers so the same rules apply, no S at the end.

Sir in IELTS listening test we write 40 millions , 2 millions ,while in reading module we always write 40 million without s what is the reason behind this ?
@WoodwardEnglish
@WoodwardEnglish 3 жыл бұрын
That is not correct. It will always be 40 million / 2 million WITHOUT an S at the end.
