Yes they work as per my comments below you won’t regret taking Hwy. 22 The Cow Boy Trail as opposed to taking Hwy 2 south of Calgary. It was what your taxi driver was alluding to Big Time Ranch land and expansive valley. It’s the Southern Alberta Experience and I’m not from Alberta.Great Hwy.

Hi Danny, This is Jay from Lancaster Pennsylvania (Home of the true Amish) and you are an absolute idol of mine! I have watched your videos for a quite a bit now, and I've never taken you for much of a cab-driven politician, though I respect your opinion. I go to a college here where side quips at Trump can be fun, but I can go to Buzzfeed, class or many other sources of media for all that. I absolutely love your content and can't wait for your next (seemingly action-packed) video! Best wishes-Jay

gemini232003 Nice!! Have you had a chance to ride with the new M8? I tossed a stage 1 on my 114 and it is such a smooth yet powerful experience, the liquid cooled heads are a pleasure to have. Especially when you are hours into your ride and hit traffic, it runs sooo much cooler and the new Suspension set up is Amazing. You can adjust the preload on the monoshock on the fly. If you haven’t had a chance to ride one I highly suggest going to a dealership on a demo day or test ride. You won’t regret it my friend.

It's great to see you feeling good Dan, unless you've been through or are going through mental health issues you cannot understand how hard it can be just to operate as a normal person. Each day is different, I know how hard it is after going under the wheels of a12 wheeler back in 94 and(I managed to hit 6 out of the 12 wheels, being a professional soldier I made sure I did it right lol) having a traumatic amputation of my left leg and very serous injuries to my right I can tell you I know what you're going through, like your friend I suffer from PTSD, I won't go into how bad things got, but at times it was horrendous. I know how devastating that can be for the person with the privet but also for the people closest to you, they take the brunt of the shit, you know the score, I was also a platoon sergeant in a British infantry regiment so to lose my career through an accident and not by doing the job I was trained for where you know the risks etc was devastating and worse then losing the leg. Like you I take each day as it comes, riding my Harley means everything to me, to be able to get on the bike and ride wherever I want to is the best drug ever. I've been clean since 2001, so I know how mentally strong you have to be to come to live with those problems in a daily basis. To see you feeling so good genuinely makes me happy for you, I love your blogs, they make me laugh and they show me what a real person you are, this journey has been epic in the miles you've achieved and no one gave you a chance of finishing this journey on a harley, well these vids are a big fuck you to all the doubters 👍, you are an inspiration and I'm sure your videos have helped people realise that mental health problems doesn't mean your life has to be shit. Enjoy the last few days of your trip, ride safe my friend.

Another great vlog Daniel! As someone who has suffered with my own battles with depression, when you got to Calgary and finally felt amazing, I can tell you exactly why you felt so good. You got out in some actual sun and got it on your skin. I was diagnosed with Seasonal Affective Disorder (SAD, what a great fucking acronym, right?) when I was in my 20's. You and I are about the same age. Even a few days of bad weather where I don't get any sun on my skin can get me pretty depressed. But as long as I get out in the sun most days of the week, I feel great. That's why I live in Florida. The sun on your skin is really the only way to get real vitamin D which has a huge impact on mood and I'm just very sensitive to it and I suspect you are as well. I'm not trying to be an internet doctor, just passing this along because it seemed so eerily familiar to me brother. Keep up the good fight Daniel! Can't wait for you to get to Tampa.

Just a heads up on taking a nice route that I recently took on my Bike out of Calgary and down south . Take Hwy. 22 which is called The Cowboy Trail south of Calgary through Black Diamond Alberta and down to Pincher Creek then the Crows Nest. You definitely want to put the Drone up at the Frank slide, Half a Mountain came down on a town called Frank years ago. Then on through Fernie and Cranbrook BC. then south to Spokane. Hwy 22 The Cowboy Trail is an absolute gorgeous ride through the foothills of the Rocky Mountains and the Rockies as a back drop, Ranch Land through the Valley. It’s absolutely stunning.
