I must say, Danny, sometimes I post negative comments on your adventures, but I apologize without hesitation. As a Western Australian, I know how hot this area can be, not to mention those F*king flies. You have proven how Hardcore you and Davo, your Loyal Wing Man are. I loved every minute of the vlog. Thank you.

My husband was in a hit and run almost a week ago and he has a bruised right kidney, left broken thumb, C6 C7 prolapsed disk, and his right shoulder socket is shattered (he cannot move his right arm), multiple grazes all over his body. He hit the road at 80 kms, his head hit the hwy. He said if he wasn't wearing a full face helmet and all the riding gear, his injuries would be worse.

Why? Why does Itchy Boots have nearly 3 million? Because 1. most people dont like bogus drama (a minority of people obviously do) 2. Noraly is *authentically* cheerful and upbeat and never plays the "woe is me" violin and 3. ultimately Bogan's videos *always* involve "a contrived stunt" of some description or other.

This series got me thinking so I asked ChatGPT about best speed in heat. Apparently if you go too fast it dries the sweet before it has time to cool you ending up dehydrating you. ChatGPT suggested between 50-70kmph in heat like 45c.Personally I have ridden in heat but never 45c but maybe slowing down a little might take the edge off. Or I could be talking out of my arse. With pulling a muscle in your back. With my work I used to pull a muscle every 6 months, until I did palates. You can be as strong as an ox but if your core has gone soft then the other muscles will overcompensate resulting in injury.

I'm originally from Perth WA. Living for the last 6 years in the Philippines. I would love to do what you're doing, but no money for a Harley. I'm tough as nails for my age (75) and I have been riding bikes for over 40 years. I'm used to heat, I love the heat more than the cold...... But riding a bike in 40° degree heat, will give you wind burns. But 47 is tough to ride a bike on a WA road, which reflexes the heat upwards.... Which only makes the heat worse ....
Stay safe Danny I give you shit sometimes but your the man bro 🇬🇧

From Perth headed to Darwin got to Timber creek and fuck me another flat tyre on the steer. And I can tell you that I fucked my back 2 times changing the truck tyre myself. And it was bloody hot as an oven. But one thing we never do is. WE NEVER QUIT. MUST PUSH ON

Danny, you need to wear proper gear. Dragon jeans, long sleeve top and jacket. Yes, even in the heat. That is why adventure riders do it in the heat better than you can. You need thermal insulation. It double acts like air conditioning, believe it or not. Your rate of perspiration decreases massively with proper gear mate. I love your vlogs, long time follower.

In past clips where you have ridden into sand traps and fallen off it looks like you have immediately backed off the throttle as soon as hitting the sand. What you said in this video is correct, keep the power ON and, while holding the handlebars firmly, allow the bike to move back and forth with the sand. With a short sand trap however, I would still apply power which would take weight off the front wheel. Obviously that only works for short stretches of sand. I ride a Low Rider and an Ultra Glide, and have done some dirt riding on both.
