Try taking a Zinc supplement. Zinc is hively important, for the sense of taste, and smell. And Sooo, many people are deficient in zinc.
@jefferyjeffery17074 жыл бұрын
@Big Momma's Life I do medical research!! Zinc is a critical nutrient, in so many body functions!! And if you're deficient in zinc...you dont have the basic mineral the body needs to have the sense of taste and smell. Try it for a month, and see!!!
@Zemarvelous6154 жыл бұрын
@@jefferyjeffery1707 did you ever try the zinc? I lost my sense of smell 2.5 years ago and it sucks bad as you already know.
@jefferyjeffery17074 жыл бұрын
@@Zemarvelous615 Yes....!! I take zinc, everyday. Zinc among many things. Is also an important part of our inmune defense. As zinc is needed in our cells, to turn off virus from continously replicating in our cells. Same reason zinc is important in preventing cancer cells from continously replicating. OK....!!! SOOO...... In a severe virus attack like is going on in the world today. When the virus hits....one of the symptoms, is the loss of the sense of taste and smell. Even when your a kid and you were sick. Foods just had no taste!!! You ate a little bit....but it had no real taste. Ok...!! So when you get hit with a virus attack, when cells are rapidly replicating the virus proteins. Your immune system....your cells quickly start using up, your body's reserves of zinc. To turn off, that rapid replication process. If you dont have enough zinc....the replication goes on. BUT....as zinc get used up. There's no longer enough zinc to run your sense of taste and smell. Soo...you loose your appetite for food!! BUT....that's also a good thing!!! Because when you stop eating. It throws your body into fasting!!!!!! When in fasting...because your not eating. Your body starts to scavage itself, of old cells, and proteins, which is what viruses are...DNA proteins. To recycle them, for the proteins, to build other enzymes and cells. Sooo....in this process, which is called autophagy. And in doing so. The body is also riding itself of the infecting viruses. Melting them down, so to speak. Into the amino acids, your body needs. To build other things. Sooo.....there is wisdom in the madness....that when you get sick. You loose your sense of smell and taste. And you stop eating, because nothing taste good, when your sick. BUT....that fasting is needed. To help the body clean itself, of the virus proteins. You use up your zinc, to get the cells. To turn off this rapid replication of viruses. And by loosing your sense of taste....you start fasting, to turn on the autophagy. To clean your body of unwanted viruses!! It's also why, zinc lozenges work, when you first get that scratchy feeling in your throat, when a cold is coming on!! Zinc doesnt kill a virus. It merely gives the body the nutrient, needed to switch off...the cells ability to rapidly reproduce the virus, inside the cells!! Sooo....I assume, since you lost your sense of smell 2 years ago. It might have been when you were sick....or if you had a baby. When you were pregnant. Either way....you could be deficient in zinc. Hope these thoughts help..... Jeffery ⚘

Sad that the person who was able to smell for 2 decades, then loses it, gets more attention than the one who never had it...
