I grew up in Florida. My grandfather used to catch mullet with a cast net and smoke them. Delicious!

My wife and I were in Gulf Shores Alabama and there was a restaurant on a pier that had a mullet special. I thought it might have been a different type of mullet than what I was used to in Louisiana. What a mistake, THE WORST MEAL ever, one bite and I was DONE. And people were standing in line for that. I Enjoy your videos.

Such an exciting challenge! 🎣 Which category turned out to be the most difficult to win? Maybe a future video could dive deeper into the techniques you used!

In Mississippi, they too eat mullet. They actually have a “Mullet” festival on the Gulf Coast.

gauge should call another audible five minute time out for the leader, kind of like the mandatory caution in a race those greenies are plentiful. awesome video as usual Todd.

15:28 call an audible that’s very seldom ever done that should be worth five points by itself😂
@looneylonzo2820 күн бұрын
14:02 oh, Lord, sounds like an accident or two needs to happen to your line so he can catch up because what I heard was if he wins, you have to clean the fish and clean the boat tighten up young man you’re about to get the short end of the stick😂

I see that water is so clear because the water is super high. That was a very hot tired that day. Just ask Vinny from pelican bone outdoors it made for a sloppy time for his Neutra hunt

That Mullett should have been 5 points to be hooked in the mouth.. Gauge is becoming quite the fisherman! looks much more relaxed and confident from a year ago

Yeah, these people in Florida eat New Yorker fish. Mullet and bluefish. The one thing I have enjoyed is the channel mullet in Florida are big. I've caught several over 2 pounds.
