I was born in Zimbabwe, and during childhood every August school holidays my parents would take us to Victoria Falls. We all loved it. The tropical smell of spray and vegatation, going up river in launches. My mother's father died there, from malaria while working on the Bridge. My elder brother was warden of a Game Park on the Zambian side. Such a privilege to experience.

Been to this wonder countless times and each subsequent was just as amazing as the previous ones. The place is indescribably magnificent, breathtaking, beautiful and scenically stunning like no other. Heavenly, iconic, majestic ..... David Livingstone, one of the first Europeans to see the falls, is quoted to have described the falls - “Scenes so lovely must have been gazed upon by angels in their flight.” Sad thing is we have not been able to market this to the world so more people would know about it and encourage them to visit and in the process increase and develop our tourism sector.

Great filming editing and production and for once the music added to, rather than detracted from, the result! Nice the way you let the magnificence of the place speak for itself without human verbiage. I happened to go there in 1970 while on a school rugby tour from RSA and remember being mentally and spiritually impacted (and soaked in the mist), even as a cocky rugby teenager. Congratulations and thank you.

@@raymondchikuku1809 but it starts from a Zambian river
@brianjackson384 жыл бұрын
@@KyojinNoEren the Zambezi is NOT a Zambian river, its a Southern African river and goes all the way through Mozambique to the Indian Ocean. It draws water from Angola, Zambia, Botswana and Namibia. It flows through Zambia's border but the face of falls is right in front of the Zimbabwe view for more than 1km of the 1.7km wideness, before spilling 150metres into the gorge.
