Milow, I cry everytime i hear this song, it showed me how much i am hurt by my fathers opinion how life should be lived. He wants me to be happy but his conservative understanding of this world.... He will never try to imagine different ways of getting happy... and in fact he is not even happy himself... many of our parents had such a spirit killing education ... how should they know? how should they know what being happy really means, when they were told, work or you are worthless ? do this and do that, whatever society thinks you should do ?... Well... This song makes me aware of these Problems with my father and helps me understand him but also gives me hope because know i understand him ... maybe i can try to change the way he thinks. Milow a huge thank you for this experience !!!

Ik hoorde dat Ben Affleck en Matt Damon een film gaan maken over Michael Jordan. Of in ieder geval over dat Nike probeerde hem te contracteren. Misschien een idee om deze song te pitchen voor de soundtrack?

Lang gelede je muziek leren kennen. En wel toen ik "Herald of Free Enterprise" voor het eerst hoorde. De ramp speelde zich af op de avond van mijn verjaardag en ik heb dit altijd onthouden. De tekst van het nummer maakte heel veel indruk, natuurlijk icm de muziek. Altijd een fan gebleven. Misschien een idee om bij sommige nummers een video te maken met een toelichting. Sommige nummers moet je zo laten en daar moet je zelf achter komen, maar ik ben toch wel benieuwd bijvoorbeeld naar de achtergrond van nummers als bij voorbeeld Way up High en Weisse Tauben
