The future Philippine Navy corvettes from South Korea will most likely be armed with the SSM-700K C-Star for antiship missiles just like the Jose Rizal-class frigates. Also, it's important that Philippine Air Force FA-50PHs need to be upgraded to Block 20 standards similar to what Poland is getting with the AESA radar.

Sams on type 052D and 055 are generally HHQ-9B at present. 3. Why Chinese did not bomb the island before anti-ship missiles fired? 4. Answer to #3 is that the mobile Brahmos launchers were 280 km away in the Luzon mainland and not on the island itself, just within the 290km operational range of the export version of the Brahmos.
