Nicely done video. Thanks to your Dad for his service, thank you for honoring him. I shot at darts towed behind an F-100 a few times. 2500+ hours in Eagles. Our condolences on your loss. Here’s a nickel on the grass for your Dad.

What a terrific documentary of a moment in time. Flying over 248 missions in Vietnam in the F-100 was far from easy duty. I thank him for is sacrifice and many contributions to our country. I'm very sad to hear he passed away, RIP!

Capt. Sanders was one of my T-38 instructors at Vance AFB in 1970-71. I went on a cross country to Salt Lake City with him and we stayed with his family if I remember correctly. Got iced in and stayed an extra day. Class of 71-05.

Wow, no kidding!? That's amazing! Such a small world, and it's so fun to hear from people who knew him from his USAF days. Not sure when you made the trip to SLC with him, but my oldest siblings were born in 1970, '72, and '73, so there's a good chance you may have met one or all of them back then too. Thank you for your service, sir, and thank you for the comment!

I take it he's your dad. I salute him as he preceded us younger troops. I saw a few fini flights in my career. They're always heartfelt. I was enlisted aircraft maintenance.

Is this the same Milt Sanders that flies RC planes in the Salt Lake City area?
@ryansanders31Ай бұрын
Yes it is! He unfortunately passed away on October 26, so it's nice to have some of these old videos of him and be able to put them up here on KZbin.
