Milton Berle Show Clips Texaco openings and Monologues (1949)

The first is from October 11, 1949; the second is from November 29, 1949.
Clips from the Texaco Star Theater starring Milton Berle. These clips were printed in 16mm in the mid 1970s for a documentary that does not appear to have ever been actually made. As such, many of these clips are incomplete, but they still seemed worth scanning due to the rarity of much of this footage.

What's with breaking the guy's violin? Was that a comedy bit? Didn't seem terribly funny. The audience didn't think so either.
