I went to a schools in the USA that did just this - the football coach / gym teacher taught other classes. Even at the academy (private school) I attended in a small town in Alabama, the FOOTBALL COACH was teaching geography. Remember, this is a school where my parents PAID to send us. The ironic thing was, the same year I started high school, the town constructed a new public high school that was better in every way - better teachers, new science equipment, even new desks and chairs.

the subjects aren't actually picked by Mock the week. The comedians tell the producers what their bit is going to be about and then the producers pick a subject for them to start off their bit with. There's a James Acaster one where he just strays from the subject immediately and doesn't reference it again for the whole bit.

Unfortunately, Milton has become too "try hard" with his jokes. He used to be just plain clever, witty, funny. But now he's become a bit of a self-parody.
