You literally just saved me from disaster. I had removed the armature without removing the brushes, and couldn't figure it out. Now have 2 more operational grinders. You da MAN!

You sir are awesome! I have two of this model, one for cutting the other for grinding and both had the rear bearing locked. I let them sit for a over a year in the “to be repaired pile” and finally got to them today. Without having a new bearing(and desperate) I sprayed the bearing with Seafoam Deep Creep and stood them upright to soak. After ten minutes I was able to free the bearing, working it back and forth until it spun like butter. (Used a rag and pliers as to not mar it.) I also took a wire brush to the motor contacts for good measure. Both are running great. Thank you!

You are welcome.. that's a success and its good to know they aren't going to end up in the landfill. I did buy some bearings on Amazon and they were not to expensive. I think like 15$ Canadian for a 5 or 10 pack. So if they give you trouble again, that's another Avenue. Cheers

Estoy feliz de haber ayudado. si usa este tipo de herramienta con frecuencia, busque la bosch 1375. Las uso todos los días y son de excelente calidad por el precio. saludos desde canada
