The new hot ness LOL. For the price of the 3/8 Snap-on you can get both 1/4 and 3/8 Milwaukee's ratchets. They sent me the same two and I can't say enough good things about them. Love the videos look forward to the next one!

That seals the deal in my mind. It amazes me that there's still a market for 14.4 Snap On stuff. Not to mention the warranty differences.

I love my old 3/8, i got the new in the 1/2". I figure the old is still going strong. With the 1/2" i get 60 lb. torque so ill just get a 3/8 adapter if im doing bigger torque job. And i read that it can break bolt up to 200 plus lbs. Very nice

Home Depot (Wisconsin) has the 3/8 ($149.00) and the 1/2 ($169.00) in stock. Tool only. I think the old ratchets (brush motors) are great for trim, covers, wheel splash shields, bumper covers etc. ; the new (brush-less motors , above) are for real nuts and bolts!!

The intent of the ratchet is tight spaces and convenience. The new ones are much heavier and larger in size(3/8). It sort of defeats the purpose of the tool...I wish the older version was brushless and FUEL( same size and weight) and it would be PERFECT!

Not to mention let's say you decide that you need to replace your batteries because they crapped out, got dropped in coolant or what have you. You can go to the nearest milwaukee retailer ie home depot, lowes (I think), tractor supply, ace and buy some batteries. Convenience is wonderful.

Milwaukee also carries a 5 yr warranty compared to snap on's 2 yr warranty. Cheaper, most chargers also charge the m12 and m18 batteries and they are super cheap compared to snappy

Ingersolls ratchets will blow these away. Once you go Ingersoll you will never use anything else. My favorite thing about their tools is the ergonomics, they are so comfortable to work with. The R1120 is their 1/4" ratchet, it's Rpm is it's strongest attribute. The R3130 is the 3/8" ratchet, this thing is as tough as they come and I've tried them all, a fresh battery and it can smack you like a super duty air ratchet. And my most favorite is the W5330, it is their 3/8" right angle impact. I can't say enough good things about it, this will make any technician faster. It's 180 ftlbs of torque, the speed of an impact, and the form of a ratchet. I use it so much that I keep a backup just in case, because work would be slow and depressing without it lol.

Can't wait to get the 3/8 ratchet, always been a big fan of Milwaukee, blows other competitors out of the water for the money in my opinion. Great vid FRM you are the man my friend!

let me tell you why i dont like air ratchets or electric ratchets. you almost ALWAYS have to use an extension because the socket does not protrude further than the switch. yes i use them but i wish they would fix the problem.

Milwaukee has been getting around on a lot of channels. No one has ever said anything bad about them. Thanks for your input.
