The putting in the rivet pushing the tail piece into the tank helped me get mine working again. Thanks

It only burns because it’s the gift that keeps on giving. Has nothing to do with the riveter, just the quality of the stuff you were riveting while the wife was away.

Actually loads of other cordless units out there long before this one but crazily expensive with dedicated batteries and bulkier, but this is a nice compact unit at a hell of a lot less cost. In Australia, the other good brand cordless units are anything up to $2000aud

My brand new rivet gun and the two 12V 4.0Ah 48Wh were here but somehow the gun doesn't work and the battery indicator just blinks up and down

Great video thanks brother. I have had the pleasure of using an air riveter. Putting patch work on semi trailers or the skid plate on the inside. They get heavy after awhile looks like that is a great deal lighter. Keep up the great work see you in the next video thanks again brother

Interesting. I use my hand riveters almost exclusively. 150-200 at a time. I have a pneumatic puller but have only used it a few times. The feel of how a rivet sets and pops is important.

What is a rivet?

It's sort of like a bolt or a screw except instead of threads to hold it in, you smash the end opposite the head so hard the thing can't come back out. Welding has replaced a lot of them, but you still see it here and there.

We use rivers in fastening sheet metal in projects involving gutters and downspouts. Look at any downspout where rainwater runs into the road. It's used in place of screws and bolts for their clean appearance.
