Great video. I just picked one up and this helped a lot in terms of loading nails. and the different ways to shoot them.

LOL, yeah the actor gig didn't pan out so I pivoted to tool review on KZbin! Thanks for stopping by and I bet you'll love the nailer!

I had the 16g version of this gun and the punching power on this one is evident

So based on your review I am now a proud father of a 15 gauge nailer for a week. I have used it for a week now and it is impressive, I can't believe never knew about this nailer until your video. Thanks. Question, will you be doing testing on their framing nailer?

Hi there Ricky! Glad to hear you're liking the finish nailer so far. As much as I would love to test the Milwaukee framing nailer, I probably will not be doing so. Every tool I review on here I buy with my own money, and I already own and have tested the Metabo 36v framing nailer. The Metabo I reviewed here: kzbin.info/www/bejne/jKGUpXhjn6uggbM I've heard very good things about the Milwaukee framing nailer, however!

I have the Milwaukee Gen 2 18GA brad, and the 23GA pin nailer. Would I need a 16GA or could I just skip that for the 15GA and be fine due to already having the 18GA for the smaller jobs?
@ToolsWithAdrius
@ToolsWithAdrius Жыл бұрын
I think you'd be fine going with the 18GA and the 15GA for the heavier stuff, yep!

Got mine today, was pretty disappointed on my first try at it, misfired about half the nails where it wouldn’t even fire the nail. Shot a whole rack into some pine blocks.

A Gen II had those problems? I'm shocked! The Gen I model had a ton of issues, but the Gen II seems solid.

@@colebyron2080 That's unfortunate to hear! It might be worth reaching out to Milwaukee to see if they will take a look at it.

@@ToolsWithAdrius I had the same troubles. I was shooting some chair rail and it kept jamming. I was shooting dewalt. Nails. Do you mind sharing what nails work well, thanks.

Is the size smaller than the 1st gen?
@ToolsWithAdrius
@ToolsWithAdrius 2 жыл бұрын
It looks like it is roughly the same size, maybe Gen II being slightly bigger. The Milwaukee site lists the Gen 1 length as 11.9" and 6.3lbs. The Gen II length is listed as 12.75" and 6.5lbs.

@@ToolsWithAdrius If im not having any issues with my Gen 1 is there any reason to upgrade?
@ToolsWithAdrius
@ToolsWithAdrius 2 жыл бұрын
@@nsxproperties560 I would say if your Gen 1 is working well and sinking nails like a champ, there's no need to upgrade to Gen 2. :-)
FINALLY!!! I tested the new Gen 2 Milwaukee 15 Gauge... Here's what I found...
