Would you choose the telescoping pole pruning shears or the telescoping pole saw?

It really is like my pole saw. Nice branch hook. I'll stick with my pole saw. I harvest wood regularly so I can keep turning cool things on my wood lathe. Thanks for sharing this Mark. It is cool to see something new.

It would be great if they made that as a QuickLock attachment! Great review it’s a winner for me!

Thanks, that's a great suggestion! It would be handy for tree trimming to have both.

Also Mark I think I may have not caught your review of the ridgid 6 gallon pancake compressor. But do you like it or recommend this compressor? Is there any flaws that you found with this compressor?

I have that video ready to go on Sunday around 2pm. The video will show the stats like decibels, runtime and some things to know about. It's worked great for me, but my video will help see it all. Thanks for your patience. My trip to World of Concrete put everything on hold.

Mark, them treees outta control! 😯 😆 Remember to always cut near a notch, and cut so the branch does not ‘peel/ shear off,’ under its own weight. This can stress or cause disease in some trees. Just my 2 cents 🤪 Ha ha ‘Oakley approved,’ so handsome! 🐶 This looks like a solid offering from Big Red. I’m really surprised they shipped it fully assembled. Love the opening, and your video skills made it look 50 foot long! 😆 I get by with my Fiskars pole pruner, which works well, but keeping track of and getting the pull string to not get tangled up, makes me wish for one of these! Especially as I have around 15-20 trees I have to keep ‘trimmed’ around my yard. I’m all for safety but there comes a point where it seems a bit silly? The trigger lockout on this is a case in point. I mean, the cutting area is like way away from the operator? But what do I know? 😆 Take it easy Mark. Please stay safe and put it to ‘sleep,’ and use that guard. 😂👍🙏🇺🇸😊

Hey George, good to hear from you! Good advice on the peel/sheer off. The nice thing with this pole pruner is that you can easily lop off a branch a little out from the notch and then cut it again closer. The safety didn't seem to be too much of an issue when using it. I think it looked more inconvenient than it really was. I still have my Fiskars pole pruner, which I've owned for probably 20 years now. I've cut more branches and limbs with that than anything else. Thanks again for all the advice, take care!

Looks like a great tool. I sure hope you cleaned all those cuts up i.e. didn't leave stubs. Cuts should always be made flush otherwise your regrowth will be twice as much as before. Sorry...as someone who prunes for a living and be a large part of my job, I see stuff like this and have to comment. Other than that ....sounds like a great tool that will ease potential repetitive strain injuries and eliminate that frustrating part where you're trying to cut a branch higher up with the pulley system and not quite have enough strength to cut all the way through.

Thanks for sharing your recommendations. This pruner definitely does a great job with nice clean cuts, even way up high.

Pretty cool. I think they are going to sell about 10x more pole saws than this but it’s got its place.

Wonder how many will get bent by the shipping company’s? Sure does make cut nicer than the pole chainsaw.

Mine had a little dent on the one end of the box, but it's packaged rather well and the pole pruner arrived in perfect condition. Hopefully other delivery carriers handle it with care. I'm impressed with the cuts. Nice and clean!
