Having a way to neatly and safely secure tools on your side by side or sand rail is absolutely paramount. Can’t tell ya how many times I’ve lost tools and ending up needing them....it can save you a big ole headache. Good video hoss.....

Thank bud. If this works out, the possibilities for what we want to take on a trip will be awesome. We can swap out tools and water and set up for whatever we are doing in minutes.

This definitely needs a removable plastic bucket to prevent liner tearing and water dumping. Cleaning would be easier as well.

Great idea with the base....I use the 20 inch open and the little open top in my service truck and they need a base so I can get rid of the straps. Have the rolling, large, medium and about five of the storage boxes so far in my PO system. They just store tools and are tucked away until I get an enclosed trailer where they are more practical to use. Come to think about it they have an old medium PO box at the pawn shop I think ill.try to get it and use the top. Thanks for the tip.

I never thought of the idea of getting the base so that way the cooler doesn’t slide around. That is genius. They showed the wall mount at nps18 but they still haven’t hit the market. Like come on already! Great info as always!

1) I would never sacrifice a companion seat for a packout mount. 2) A mount the in the bed of a UTV might be nice. 3) That metal strap on the side is a bottle opener that you can clip a tape measure to, if you wish to. 4) Nice video. Thanks for sharing.
@WorkshopAddict5 жыл бұрын
Thanks Terry. I should have added more info. 1. We purchased a 4 seater for the extra room for items when running as a chase rig in races. When we go out with the family it will have 4 people in it, but otherwise, we need the storage. 2. We are going to test this with lids and see if they will hold up without falling out of the bed. Not sure the lids will take the abuse. 3. I thought I talked about the opener/tape measure strap?
@terryluebbe25605 жыл бұрын
@@WorkshopAddict You said it was a tape measure holder that you could use to open bottles. I put the the emphasis on the later, due to my enjoyment of beer. Subtle difference. 😎🍺🍺🍺

A pack out base would be great, I would get a few for my work truck to keep the extra pack out tool cases organized, take just what I need as needed, as for the cooler I like but wish it was bigger and hard plastic, with a built in self cooling, like those old coolers you used to plug in to your cigarette plug.

One of the biggest downsides of a cooler like this to me is it the liner is a fixed unit and it cannot be pulled out these type of liners are really hard to clean and they end up ripping like crazy I know because I had a pretty large lunch bag from Duluth Trading that had a same liner and after a few years of use it started ripping. I now have a cheaper cooler this size with a hard plastic liner that is food grade and I can pull it out wash it by hand or put it in the dishwasher. Oh yeah and it was like $20
@WorkshopAddict5 жыл бұрын
I had the same style cooler that had a plastic liner and it was awesome. It did not work as well as this, but agree, much more durable.
@brandonmoen69565 жыл бұрын
You said it did not work as well. Can you explain in What ways?
@wrenchesrides5 жыл бұрын
@@brandonmoen6956 It would not hold ice for more than 4 or 5 hours and the Milwaukee cooler will for 24 hours. we proved that on instagram. The cheap cooler also had a strap rip off the side after one summer.

I don't remember what my brand is but I've had it for 2 years now I used it working with the County's Road Department I've used it working in construction I've loaded it chock-full of stuff so that the lid barely closes and I've never had a problem with it breaking. I've packed it with a good amount of ice and it lasted all day.

Doesn't come with a liner/tub. I don't buy softside coolers that don't have the hard insert. They always develop leaks over time. What are the internal dimensions? Maybe I can rob one off my other coolers or make one out of stainless for WOW factor.....ha!

Fucken cooler sucks. Did not hold my ice for over 5 hours after opening it to grab 2... Two beer... and that bottle opener angle sucks. Every beer spills and does not do it's job without spilling heavy liquid. Crap bag really. I love Milwaukee tools but I hate their recreation stuff. It can't be a job site cooler...
