QUESTION OF THE DAY: What sound level do you like your speakers at while working? Loud, mid level, or quieter background sound level?

Just loud enough to still hear the background noise.

Mark Thomas! Hey, I think this was a kickin video ya know?! 😆 😊 @ 01:30 That sawbuck in the back ground nearly identical to mine that I made like 25 years ago, and it is still in use! @ 09:40. I still have that old radio, and it still works! Reception kind of sketchy at times. Commercial Jobsites use to frown on/ prohibit radios, and on some residential jobs the owners or GC’s would as well. The fact these pair is a good feature. It works most of the time with my JBL speakers. I might have to look into these speakers. Take care Mark! Hi to the ‘Boys’ for me. Give em a bone 😊

Hey George! I use my sawbuck all the time, I leave it outside and spray it with some WD40 on occasion, to keep the rust at bay. That's cool that you still have that old Milwaukee radio. I used to plug my iPod shuffle it to hear my favorite songs. I eventually get a crackle in the speaker and wore it out. I will give the boys a treat, you can count on that!💯🦴 🐾 Have a great weekend!

Question: have you figured out how to get these to play in stereo? They only play in mono for me even when audiolinked

The M18 speaker is cool but the M12 speaker for some reason peeks my interest more! Dang I can’t believe Milwaukee had a Rockford Fosgate jobsite speaker, you still have that speaker?

@@txvet7738 The M12 is nice because it has AM/FM, but lacks bass. It sounds good if you have it 25’ away and turned up. The portable size is a plus. I basically wore that Rockford Fosgate out. The 1 speaker started crackling after years of use. It was heavy, but had a nice rich sound.

How does this do if you're watching videos? Is the timing off from video to audio?
@MarkThomasBuilder
@MarkThomasBuilder 18 күн бұрын
@@gabrylsisneros4791 good question! It’s off ever so slightly. If I’m working out in the garage and want to watch a video with the speakers, I won’t be distracted. It’s nothing like the old kung fu movies delay, lol!

I have the pack out radio.. which one you prefer? One pack out or the 2 new ones?
@MarkThomasBuilder

I like the sound of these 2 speakers the best when spread out a bit and pointing towards my work area. I'm hoping that Milwaukee makes an am-fm radio that pairs with these for those times I want to listen to baseball or football games.

ive always been disappointed with the milwaukee speakers never being loud enough and very low quality bass you can never feel, yes they are perfect for electrical workers or finishing workers but for guys that work with loud power tools all the time they suck for instance, im an insulation instaler well net and blow houses all day long, the pneumatic guns are always loud and the hopper always makes tons of noise as well idc if the speaker overpowers the sounds we make at work but the second i go into a different room its almost as if i cant hear it anymore so yeah we need milwaukee to make a club level speaker for those who do want to hear it over noise and more than 100ft away maybe something to compete with the jbl 320 or slightly bigger

I've always found that they have enough volume for me, but I've never thought about situations like you mentioned. If they never make one loud enough, the only solution would be to buy another speaker for the other room and connect them with the audio-link feature.
