QUESTION OF THE DAY: Do you mostly use battery or gas outdoor power equipment?

@@MarkThomasBuilder battery in town, gas in the country
@MarkThomasBuilderАй бұрын
I hear what you're saying. If you try the M18 Dual Battery String Trimmer, you might want that out in the country. I wasn't sold on it until I tried it.

@@MarkThomasBuilder I'll keep that in mind for spring. Even the mowers could use a boost.

I'm not a landscaper but live on a large wooded acreage property so I use these sorts of tools probably more than most homeowners. Lots of chainsaw. Lots of brush cutting. Lots of pruning. Lots of leafblowering. I am through with gas small engines. There's absolutely no point to it for me. The only small engines left to migrate are a pressure washer and an ATV/UTV and I'm waiting for a Mwaki version of both.

Thanks Mark. I used the link provided to get the 12ah and 8ah deal for only $249! Pretty damn good!

Nice deal Ron, and thanks for support of Mark!

Good to see Mwaki really upping their game and going after the landscapers. I counted around $20,000 of twelvos on that wall. Crikey.

Yeah, they have some great products! That's interesting to know the cost of all those batteries. It adds up fast.

I use both battery and gas powered outdoor tools, technology with the battery powered outdoor have come a long way but the only drawback is the price of the batteries and chargers, the tool itself can last longer than the batteries after so many cycles.
@MarkThomasBuilderАй бұрын
That's a good point. What would be nice is if tool companies offered a battery trade-in deal when the batteries eventually wear out.

That power supply thing would be amazing to own and take that bugger camping and outdoors. Mainly because the power supply inverter thing doesn't power my cpap all night. This big ole thing wouldn't only hold up, but go for days

Yeah, it looks like a real powerhouse. I wonder if a solar top-off option would be an accessory that people would want to have with this?
@SudburyManАй бұрын
I need that for recharging our laptops when off
@MarkThomasBuilderАй бұрын
It's a great solution for multiple battery charging.

just blew my 1-acre side yard. 10 batteries. usually with my stihl BR, it was 3/4 of a tank and I didn't have to stop 10 times. this guys rocking 100k in forge batteries and chargers like every landscape guy can afford that.

Bradley, the product manager said it well that for many wanting to go all electric, it's going to be a long journey.
@Dirtyharry70585Ай бұрын
Yah $1k in six batteries alone….
@Dirtyharry70585Ай бұрын
Or buy f150 with Powerboost &7200k output. Charge anything you want.

Interesting... I haven't priced new trucks lately. The truck you're talking about starts at $55K and goes up to $75K. 😬

I wouldn't question Milwaukee batteries. They have been developing tool batteries since the 80s. It's the tools being used for lawn care that I would question.
