For fall 2024, which is Aug/Sep, you are a little late if you haven’t give any exam. Because round 2 is going on and as an international student, you should apply by round 2 or max by Round 3. So you should have a score by Feb mid and prepare your applications simultaneously.

Yes you can, but rather going for a MIM, go for a specialised masters in HR if you are certain about this career choice.

For Fall 2025 (Aug 2025), the applications will start from July 2024 and round 1 ends around Sep/Oct. If you are trageting fall 2025, then April 2024 is the right time for the GMAT exam.

@@pushpa-df6nf from arts to MIM, definitely she will have some challenges in quantitative courses, but she can steer her career towards marketing and focus in marketing electives. Tell her to do some fundamental courses in quant and finance before she will join the program. It will help her to navigate those challenges. You need to have a Bachelors degree in any discipline after grade 12th.

It’s difficult to say because even after doing MIM from a top school, you will get a good career growth and you might not need an MBA. But if MBA is you definitely want to do, then ideally work for a few years and directly do that. Doing both is not an ideal way!

@@jeremythomasjain there is no correlation of becoming a CEO and MBA/MIM. It takes time and strong work experience to reach at the top, which can be possible from MBA or MIM. The program gives a start in the corporate world, so a strong brand can help you.

I've recently completed my graduation (bcom) and I'm a fresher. I want to get into management. Which would be better option(in terms of ROI) for better career n lifestyle ? .. preparing for CAT n other exams and try to get into IIM and other top B-schools in India ? or preparing for ielts,gmat etc and try to get into better University for MIM Abroad ? .. My academics : class 10-7.8 cgpa , class 12-65% and bcom -6.5 score and which would be more easier to get into ?

If you are asking with regards to eligibility, then yes you can. Secondly, if you are asking in terms of profile fit, then also you can. MIM is a general business program, which anyone can pursue and succeed. Rest for more detailed analysis, I would need to understand your background in detail.

These 2 courses are not comparable. Its like comparing an apple to an orange. Global MBA requires at least 3-5 years of experience but if you wish to complete your management education earlier, then MIM is a good option. It purely depends on your goals and future plans.

Indian colleges don't offer MIM programs. It's outside India only. In India, you can directly do the MBA.
