What a time capsule... Phil Ford and Mimi Hines... Gila Golan... Woody Allen is the new up-and-coming guy... Skitch Henderson, f'god's sake... this is gold. Listen to what Skitch and the NBC Orchestra (which is what it was still called then) do to "Auld Lang Syne" at the end: It's a scream.

Yes, Gila Golan, sitting next to Phil and Mimi, was featured in "Our Man Flint"- she wore the same dress (and head covering) in the "I DREAM OF JEANNIE" episode "This Is Murder" [4/23/66]....Gila had been one of the actresses originally auditioned by creator/producer Sidney Sheldon for "Jeannie", and he made it up to her by casting her as "Princess Tarji" in that episode....

That’s back when Late Night tv was awesome and an escape from POLITICS. Unlike now

By the Our Man Flint opening comment, this show dates Dec 31st 1965. Gotta be some of the oldest exsisting Carson Tonight Show material - and in color yet. Where did it come from - how did it survive? Do you have the whole show? Thanks for posting -

The band at the end drops some bump and grind into Auld Lang Syne trying to get a rise out of Mimi. Take that, Guy Lombardo!
