Beautiful cake! You definitely made it look easy enough to try to make. Thank you so much for sharing. Love that Nonna says she dilutes the alcohol. So funny. You should have had her do this recipe with you, so we could see how she brushes the layers . Lol Definitely will try this one soon.

Hi Rossella.. Your cake looks so great. I have question, please can I use self raising flour? instead of the Cornflour??? Thanks...
@cookingwithnonna7 жыл бұрын
Michael Averbeck No! Please stick to the blend of all Purpose/00 with the cornstarch

Hi Rosella! Whats its difference from a charlotte cake? Are they somewhat the same? Thanks
@cookingwithnonna6 жыл бұрын
Jannah Savidad it’s not really a Charlotte cake, as there are no cookies lining it
@ringo27406 жыл бұрын
Rossella's Cooking with Nonna No, i mean the filling like the custard combined with the whip cream thats almost the same with bavarian cream, filling in a charlotte cake
@cookingwithnonna6 жыл бұрын
Jannah Savidad that’s not really exclusive to a Charlotte cake. In Italy chantilly Cream/diplomat Cream (a mix of pastry cream and whipped cream) is used for many desserts
