There were some really amazing details they lost in the reno. The articulated light above the kitchen sink is super. Love that you can go to the backyard from the dining area.

This is one of my favorites. It is very bright, clean, and modern but still keeping the details of the house. It ja not so eclectic and grandma design like the other makeovers.

It's all superstition. Fasting n prayer Blood of Jesus,word of God which is sword of God, Armour of God these r some of the tools n weapons of our warfare,not no shoes. U can anoint the home with olive oil which is biblical n pray over the place n bind rebuke evict drive away,univite, scatter by fire by force any spirit that is NOT of God that may be laying dormant. Invite the spirit of God Holy Ghost to dwell there. Only God's Sperry should be there no unclean evil entity shall dwell there in Jeus mighty name

I don't know how this renovation could be worth their time if they're hoping for just a $10K profit. That's almost nothing.

I would not have bothered that shoe. I either would not have touched it or got a pastor to pray over the house and got rid of the shoe. I also would not have messed with the property knowing it was there, playing with the occult is never a good idea. But they did do a great job on the house😊.

Where are you hiding the step ladder to access those upper cupboards?
@b_uppy
@b_uppy 2 жыл бұрын
Buyers supply their own. You'd still need a step ladder to clean that if they left it open above. This means pulling down dead flies, spider nests, and piles of dust in a spot that is hot and sweaty. Putting in a soffit means that you have a space that might house mice in the future. With cupboards to ceiling you get to store lesser used kitchen tools and they stay *clean and ready.* It maximizes otherwise wasted space. That square footage costs money, use all of it!!!

The "Good Bones" features here in Europe as well on HGTV..love watching all the home renovations but although we all speak perfectly good English..the problem with the nasal sound coming from Mina..is absolutely impossible to follow... We realise it's a habit of many American women..but if you are the star of a program it's important that people can hear what you say..the men don't seem to have the same problem...

Superstition means in the translation "stands beyond". Like an evil spirit or such. Religion on the other hand is part of a human life in which the person acts according the rules of said religion. All religions have superstitious elements in it because basically Superstition means the illusion of control through manipulating things (like the shoe) or nature. And what would we be without control, even if only imagined. There are no evil spirits or good spirits for that matter: only a lack of insight and fear. I would have thrown the shoe away. Most probably during full moon, at midnight, on a cemetery 🤣🤣🤣🤣

It's lovely except two things: 1. please stop using gray everywhere...especially permanent surfaces. Gray is depressing and looks dirty. 2. And clear glass shades make no sense. Shades are specifically used to reduce glare.

I painted everything gray not long before Christmas Eve 1988. By Spring of 1989, I was sick to death of it! It's cold, institutional, and very much overused. There are many other crayons in the box.

@@angelbulldog4934 So true. I started reading The English Home magazine about 10 years ago (there was a pile in the library fund raising store) and they use glorious color everywhere. I never went back to following fashion. My laundry is Lemon Meringue, main living areas are Glimmer, one child's bedroom is Romance, the other is Hinting Blue all from Sherwin Williams. Walking through my house makes me happy every day. :)

When decorating for *resale, neutrals* are what you do. If you do pink, green, purple, red, what have you, it will put off *buyers* because it will *clash with what they have.* These people ars decorating for *resale.* *This is NOT a remodeling of a home owner's house. This is NOT a custom job.*

As you correctly mentioned, the old shoe got far too much exposure . I have yet to see a crucifix or a Cristian picture featuring in any program
