The trailblazer was given a card numbered 'Zero' by Black Swan, which would make them The Fool. And Gallagher saying he is Thirteen makes him Death, which makes a lot of sense given that he is associated with 'Death' itself or can even control it.

Chapter 2 and 6 in Sumeru were really cool but aside from that it just felt unnecessarily bloated, just like the area itself. Fontaine is where it's been at. The fortress of meropide arc is really the only thing that dragged on and felt unnecessary but this is a Hoyo game story we're talking about. It's always gonna have "that one arc"

@@renatomarelli4199 Aventurine in the first 2 days of 2.1 was harder to beat, they nerfed him because a lot of people weren't doing the mechanic properly and lost the fight. It worked properly before the nerf, but you needed to get the dps, supports that have ults covering the whole board or else when he did his all or nothing thing you usually ended up with some of them dead, and if they didn't die then you ended up with not enough energy for having a ult to use in the next all or nothing. I beat him easily with Kafka, BS, Pela and Luocha, after I failed with Acheron, SW, Pela and Gepard, and don't get me wrong, in any other place in the game the Acheron team would always come ahead of the Kafka one...

While I've enjoyed a lot of the characters in Honkai Star Rail, I've only felt a major connection to four of them: Dan Heng during the Luofu, Huohuo, Firefly, and now Aventurine. I hope he manages to cheat this death so I can talk to him again. Also, small detail, but all the people that Aventurine talks to when he's giving away gems are NPCs that you could use clockwork on to get a sticker and/or sidequest since 2.0. All of their responses to Aventurine's questions are informed by their personalities that you could learn about by doing clockwork. It really makes the world feel more real.

I bet Trailblazers is having mixed feelings about all this. After everything that’s happening in Penacony, the lies and secret, and the deaths he/she witnessed, seeing Firefly in front of him/her, alive and well, must’ve been the worst. Feeling happy that Firefly is alive. Feeling sad that she's a Stellaron Hunter. Shocked to see that she's Sam all along. Confused on thinking that their time together was set up, that their first encounter was part of Elio's 'script.' And mad that she’s deceived him/her, not to mention being traumatized after seeing her 'death.' If I were in the MC, it would be exactly how I would feel if I saw her right now.

The TB doesn't know this, but I don't think the time they spent at the start of 2.0 was just part of the script. Sam said that their whole script was to "get the express to look into stuff at Penacony", and they did not need to spend anywhere near as much time with the TB to accomplish that. Especially since during the entire of 2.1, every time we see Sam/Firefly, it's them saying that they tried to go against the script (to help out more), but failed. Again though, obviously TB doesn't know this. The way TB sees the Stellaron Hunters is also kinda weird, given how many dialogue options to be chill with them TB gets (plus just casually texting them pics of cute animals that look like them). The rest is still perfectly valid though, and you can see some of TB's updated thoughts if you go back to the Firefly hideout spot after finishing 2.1.

Capitalized pronouns refer to aeons and strangely the goddess that the avgins worshipped(I hope she's an actual being). Acheron was not referring to the edict edges, sovereigns or kami when she said THEIR shadow. "THEIR shadow" refers to IX. She says this at the end when she defeated the kami by destroying the end but she saw that it was all for nothing. She realized that they were already doomed from the beginning cuz the black sun of izumu was actually just IX. That's when she became a self-annihilator and forged the naught blade and attacked IX. And then IX erased everything, leaving no traces of izumu except for acheron.

I love the fact that, if you were paying close attention, you could have guessed that he had three cornerstones. Since the symbol on the Jade one is a clove, but Aventurine uses a spade as his symbol. They even focus on the spade on his bag, in that scene, just to drive it home. But most people wouldn't even think of that since they did such a good job of convincing us that there would be no way for him to ither have a third cornerstone, or to have anticipated that happening. Edit, the Jade symbol might be a diamond, looking at Jade's design. But still, point stands.

I find it’s very poetic at the end that Aventurine’s cornerstone stops glowing. It’s signifies a chapter in his life ending. And then a new glow of the Amber corner stone his new beginning. The Amber Lord is Qlipoth, Aeon of Preservation. I think Adventurine was just playing up the part of IPC representative when he said it was all for them. I am also under the impression it's the jade stone that started to glow since Topaz told Jade that her stone was delivered to the Family as planned. I do very much agree though that the glow of the adventurine stone stopping could signify his end as "Adventurine" and maybe he'll just be Kakavasha from now.

The implication of a cornerstone stopping glowing is that the owner has died, since their very will is imbued within it. For all intents and purposes, Aventurine, Kakavasha, died. He simply has no intention of staying that way, is all. But until he does succeed, *if* he succeeds, he is dead. And as the other reply has said, the Amber Lord is the title of Qlipoth, the Aeon that the IPC follows.

3:38:21 There seemed to be a translation/localization error before: The EN localizer (mistakenly) left out the "minion of Enigmata" part and the line only read "Tell me I'm wrong", and that was probably the script the EN va initially received when they recoreded it. There was quite a backlash on the fact that this piece of key information was omitted in translation, and looks like the game dev was able to fix the subtitle later. However, it looks like they couldn't let the EN va redo the line in time since the patch is already released, hence leaving the second part of that line unvoiced. Maybe they will fix the voice line in a later update. You never know.

This quest blew me away with all the unsuspected turns and revelations and i liked the switching of PoV's that they added. I also was suprised how much time they spent showing Adventurine's true nature and i'm sure he'll have a major role in the future chapters. It also made me realize that they used the animated short and trailer to show off Acheron's past and Adventurine ingame, probably to make the story shorter. All in all, i can't wait to see where this all goes and when we are getting Jade as a playable character :)

So Mina. There's some localisation issues at the big reveal involving Galagher for the Eng dub. In the JP and CN version, Sunday refers to Gallagher as a "Minion of thr Enigmata". This was explicitly said in the dialogue in the two other dubs, but not in EN. Typical localisation fuck ups For lore context, the Path of Enigmata and it's Aeon, Mythus are the opposite of Nous the Erudition. If those who walk the Path of Erudition seek to unravel the truth of the universe and gain more knowledge, those of the Enigmata seek to obscure knowledge.
