Just wanted to say how much I liked the Mina/Ben weekly videos and the format this season. Really fun every week, and I appreciate trying to cover every game so there's something for fans of every team. Few things to add about the Dolphins offense - They severely lack variety in terms of their weapons. All they really have is speed, speed and more speed (Tyreek, Waddle, Smith, Achane, Mostert). They need more size and variation. - They must have the least direct, most convoluted run game I have ever seen. The amount of faied jet sweeps alone boggles the mind - It feels like they were constructed in Madden or at the very least, theoretically rather than practically.

Maybe interesting just to me, but only three NFL teams have made the playoffs the last five years if the season ends as expected. First is the Kansas City Chiefs which has won a few Super Bowls in that time. The second is the Buffalo Bills, which has not won any Super Bowls in that time. The last is the Tampa Bay Buccaneers (surprise), who has also won one Super Bowl in that time. All three teams have also won their divisions four years straight, and all but Tampa have won them five years straight. For a league that prides itself on parity, these teams have broken that by making the playoffs for a half a decade now with no breaks. I enjoy these KZbin videos from Mina Kimes and Ben Solak - they are fun to watch. Their comment on the offensive line in Seattle is spot on. Tampa had the same problem last year and this year, with a couple of changes (one drafted, one free agent) it is much better. Sometimes you don't need stars, just capable starters.

Sam was new with the Vikings and is playing much better now, especially with Hockenson back and now getting Napier (the Vikings' fastest receiver). Sam has shown he can move around in the pocket to make plays, whereas in the beginning, he was looking for Jefferson too much, and now that has changed a lot with Addison stepping up. The Lions are good against the rush, but the Vikings are a pass-first team. KOC is more invested in the passing game.
@carlbenson641218 күн бұрын
Hey guys for my Bengals it was an assortment but it starts as always with the talent level. The Bengals let too many key defensive players walk & weren't able to sign players that were as good & their drafts haven't gone the way that they hoped. They need a reset after they fall short this season or it will become a pattern of mediocrity. Joe made key mistakes in at least 3 key games that the Bengals could've won so he has a lot to ponder in the offseason. What's that team going to look like next season? Who's the head coach. Good show.

I'm a bit shocked Vikings fans here are upset at the so-called "glazing" of the Lions. Mina picked the Vikings because their defense is healthier! Personally I think this game goes to Detroit because they can keep up in a shootout with anyone, and it doesn't matter a ton if they're down at halftime. But Minnesota has a great chance of pulling it off because their passing offense is no slouch. It's going to be a great game.
@TheMadCrunkster18 күн бұрын
@@kchandaman3012 I think it’s directed at Ben, not Mina. Ben just very clearly comes off as a Lions fan boy rather than a neutral analyst. The idea that with our best coverage linebacker being back in this and Flores having just radically adjusted his defense approach from one Packers to another, and Solak still is like “I don’t even know what Flores could do differently!”, is just like come on man.
@kchandaman301218 күн бұрын
@@TheMadCrunkster I don't even know if that makes a difference though, or at least not a major one against the Lions offense. Cashman came back in Week 10 against the Jaguars, which probably saw him on a snap count, but even in games where he played the Vikings defense was good but could still be taken advantage of. We saw this with the Cardinals and Seahawks games, for example, and you were this close to losing to the Bears in Chicago if it were not for a blocked kick in OT. Also while yes, both of your losses came with Cashman out. you also won one of the three games he missed, which was against the Colts. Again, I'm not saying the Vikings have no chance, and neither is Ben or anyone else picking the Lions. You have an excellent team that has proven a lot of doubters wrong. But I just find it funny that Vikings fans are mocking Lions fans for claiming no one believes in them while that seems to be the mentality from both sides, and to some degree it's kind of justified for both sides. You have a very good defense, but this specific matchup is a tough one, Cashman or no Cashman, because Detroit has so many different ways to attack the middle of the field that one very good linebacker can't do everything against. And I am not a fan of either team so I'm not biased. I just like Detroit's ability to continue doing what they're good at under pressure
