What if we have a name that is in the descriptive category, but we add a letter at the end, which doesn't change how it's pronounced? Is this one still considered descriptive, or is it suggestive? Let's say "bear" and "beare".

If the term is descriptive in association with specific products and services, then adding minor misspellings would very rarely make it no longer descriptive.
