What other modifications have you done to it? I got a patrol rd28 stock and i kinda want to put the 3" pipes exhaust system, will that be enough for that sound and also improving slightly the performance of the vehicle?

The 3” exhaust itself will decrease the temperature the head since there is no restrictions as muffler, plus the turbo will spin up a bit earlier. And the sound of course whistling diesel 👌 I also put mechanical boost controller and increased turbo pressure to 1 bar, a bit more fun to drive now. And I have 5,13 ratio main gears , so 35inch tires felt like stock.

Did you block the EGR valve? I heard people also do that and it helps a tiny bit. What about catch cans? I read that and the EGR delete helps to keep the engine soot free, watch might keep it running smoother.. but not sure if any disadvantage of these 2 mods.
